    I saw this model at the hobby shop. I wanted to buy it for the wheels, the art work picture looks a whole lot better, than the actual wheels shown on the side of the box. I understand why you didn't want to use them.

    Why not a giftcard to a local hobby store. He may already have the model, and supplies like paint,or aftermarket detail parts, could work out better.

    I have a Cousin who owned one of these. This particular car had a 4 speed Talk about a rarity, bet that car would be valuable today, just for the Interest factor.
