  1. The clamps are basically just for looks. You could easily enough sub a part of the Photo etched tree, and make it work.
  2. That is a very nice car.
  3. That's the best one. I have seen, and every month some Clown, from my model club brings a version of a General Lee to the meeting. So I have seen plenty.
  4. Looks great
  5. Yeah Love the paint.
  6. Did a little more body work tonite. It will look better once it gets primed.
  7. Urea, AKA Urine on a model, what does that do? Is that why clear turns yellow?
  8. Great looking car
  9. I am getting ready to reinforce the body some. Before I cut the cowl off. The mockup fitting was far better, than the Old body shown in the background. Nothing I would do, seemed to be right with that one, you can see I had to relocate the axle shaft openings, and move the forward tins up.
  10. One of my favorites to watch are Front Engine Dragsters, from the early Sixties, and Seventies. This is my first time trying to build one. Let me know what you think. This was started a couple of years ago and then put away. It's from the Two Much, dragster with the frame extended, and one engine removed. The body was completely useless and could not be made to work and look good. I now have switched over, to this Ramcharger body, and modified it last night.
  11. He was a Jerk for doing that. I hope you have a better day though, your already a better person.
  12. The pictures are very Helpful Jesse. Thanks for posting them.
  13. Very Cool.
  14. Here's, Mine.
  15. There are a few most of the time, the stock ones can be very pricey!
  16. How about using Model Master #28003 Silver laquer?
  17. Next time try masking with bare metal foil.
  18. Use bare metal foil, to mask off the areas you don't want to paint, and airbrush.
  19. Allright, Cole. Welcome to the forum, I liked the first line in your introduction "HI, I've been building models for all my life that I can remember." And your only 12. I am near 50 and like you got started young. I hope you have a long exciting life building all kinds of Models.
  20. In this case that's what it means. Sometimes We here, take for granted that when you post a picture of a car that you want to replicate,Post #1. You already have an Idea of the kit you are going to use to start with, say an AMT 55 2 door sedan. Asking questions about, Is this a stock kit? How do I go about Tubbbing the rear end? How should I lower it? Comes later in the build. After you already have the kit in hand.
  21. This one is better. No ill fitting opening doors. The AMT kit does build up ok though
  22. I have the Neo gravity fed AB it works well with all Paints, and Thinners I have put through it.
  23. The MPC Monte Carlo has a Honda chopper in 1/25, the Mongram Cherry Bomb kit has a Chopper Harley, I think in 1/24. I just sold a Revell combo kit on E-Bay, which had Both a Harley chopper, and a Honda. in it in 1/25. Revell has a Triumph in 1/25. A few years ago Revell did a Ford truck with a Harley Street bike, in 1/25. There are a few kits with Minibikes added to them as well. Skulls are really seasonal, usually in the Months before Holloween. Is when they are most abundant. You could check those War Game places.
  24. Nice truck. Interesting location for the oil filter. I have never seen one remotely located like that before.
