  1. My vote is for #2. it is more interesting. not sure if it would work any better than #1
  2. I met Gordon, once during a meeting at his Home. He built some amazing Box stock models and was a very nice Individual. I had not seen him in a long time and did wonder whatever happened to him from time to time. This was in my early years of being in the Moonlight Modelers club and I did not know many members back then.My condolences go out to his Family.

  5. John, I Wonder if Gregg Wann realized the true potential of this masterpiece, you are building when he cast it. Excellent work, All of the models you bring to the table are always top notch and a true pleasure to see all of the details. when they are viewed up close and in person.
  6. That is the coolest. I have a few of these models and really need to get serious about building them, Thanks for your Inspiration.

  10. Hey Lyle there is a fellow by the name of Mike Gradis that deals with big scale kits and parts he has a company called E-Duece he most likely has the parts that you would need for a complete engine. I bought one from him a few years back Mike also used to advertise in Scale Auto.and can now be found on E-Bay.
  11. I made some once by wrapping very fine copper wire, around a rigid wire like a guitar string. I just kept wrapping and pushing it together, then I painted it with black enamel paint, when it dried I slipped it off of the guide wire. It was very flexible and easy to work with.
  12. I love everything about it. Great job on this one.
  13. Sounds like a Job for Chip Foose.
  14. just wanted to say I really like the truck and trailer
  15. I have one and I use it for models Once in a while, but usually for other projects. I would'nt buy one of those just for Modeling use. There are smaller and better alternatives like a small palm type sander that could work just as well. I have even converted a battery powered toothbrush over to a sander before and it works excellent.
  16. I definately agree those are some very nice builds
  17. Yeah its way cooler now!
  18. Heres Mine http://public.fotki.com/Gabriel12/jo-han-cuda/ .
  19. those look somewhat like the wheels available in the Revell 49 Merc. you would have to fabricate the bullet caps from maybe some caddy taillights.and paint them with alclad.
  20. That is just very Cool. The quality of your work is just outstanding.and it is always a pleasure and sensory overload when I see your builds in person.the building for yourself is also very admirable. I am A bit concerned your build area looks so clean and sanitary. John Are you Ok. LOL
  21. Very cool build. It looks like it could just startup and drive away.
