Can someone identify this paint job for me?

Yeah the sweptline is one of the best ones I have seen aside from the fact that the drivers side fender looks like it kissed a tree but that is an easy fix. -

that is all the pics I got of it, the roof is painted the same colour, the hood is not on the car but it is might be it the General area, it was original a 383 car but the guy who owned it just bought it for the motor, it is missing the front suspension, it has a 8-3/4 rear axle, it’s sitting on its side and he will sell it to me for $50. That is all I know about it. -

ISO someone with a brain that knows a thing or two about engines

Today I got the car to turn over. The reason that it didn’t fire up is because it is missing plug wires 4&6 and a bad battery. -
What did you see on the road today?
426 pack replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Today I stopped and took a look at this late 60s sweptline dodge. yesterday I stopped and looked at this early 60s sweptline Fargo. and next week I’m going to go looking through a feld of trucks and cars and there is suppose to be at least one sweptline there. (In case it isn’t obvious I like old sweptline dodge/Fargo trucks) -
I have decided that I’m going to biuld it like the JATO rocket car because it will be a lot easier. Yesterday I painted it and today I started to biuld the cage to keep the rockets in place.

I would say yes you should have your own thread just for your engines as I would love to see all of yours. Or even a specific section for everyone to show of there engines.
-
Just seen a commercial for this on the history channel and I thought I would share it with everyone. travis-pastrana is going to attempt a jump that Evil Knievel couldn’t.

I have an old model and some model rockets that I’m going to put together to biuld something like the moth busters jato rocket car or the rocket sled spliting a car in half. JATO 1,2 and 3 The rocket sled. The model.

Technically this was yesterday but I’m happy that my mower survived the Canada day parade and got a lot of attention in the Canada day car show.

Hope all the other Canadians had a happy Canada day

I finally got my mower done. now if everything stays together I should be driving it in the Canada day parade tomorrow.

I’m home schooled and my cousin has his own forging equipment (no power hammer so I did it all by hand). Thanks. It took a total of two days to do and a lot of blisters. The first day was just the shaping of it with a hammer and the second day I cleaned it up, did all the grinding, quench, tampering, 2 hours of sanding by hand and biuld the handle. But it all started as a leaf spring. Let me just say that after making a knife myself I have a lot of respect for the guys on forged in fire that can do it in 3 hours. Here are a few mor pics of it. this is it after day one. My cousin built a knife as well to show me what I needed to do. This is is my knife along side my cousins knife.

That thing is awesome. For school I had to make knife as a metal work project and I wanted to make a mini knife like that. I did end up making a knife but it was about 16” longer.

I recently got an old amt callaway corvette for $7.50 and I’m not a big fan of the 90s vets so I decided that I’m going to put a 1962 corvette body on its frame. It will be biult box stock except for the body and rims. The rims are from a revell 1999 Ford lightning and the body is a revell 1962 corvette gasser. The engine is twin turbocharged. The wheel bas is the same but it will need some trimming up front and some material added to the back. Comments welcome
