Well guys I failed the test. I will be able to take it again in 14 days.

Today I start building my exhaust for my mower. I am building this for my local Canada day car show and parade on the 1st of July.

Thanks guys for all the support. That’s a good one. My brother told me that I should ask the instructor to sit in the back and say that god is my co-pilot. Or I could tell the instructor that I need practice for racing season.

Tomorrow morning I am going to take my drivers test. I got my learners permit last year and now I will be doing the road test so that I can drive alone. (I am very nervous)

Good to hear there is another hockey fan here. I’m an oilers fan myself but I’m cheering for Vegas to win the cup right now.

Today I went to an auction and bought a tig, stick welder/plasma cutter and a bunch of random parts.

I biuld and race lawnmower.

This has been my all time favourite model ever since you did the biuldup in scale auto mag and without this model in that magazine I probably wouldn’t be building models today as this was the one that inspired me to start customizing and modifying models.

Where did that truck come from? Because we had 3 of thiese show up at our local ford dealership when they were new (one in red one in blue and one in that same colour) in Fort st John BC (which is only about 6 hours away from you).

I am guessing you are taking about the Chevy truck that I posted a pic of. For the right price I would bring it home to...... wish me luck that I can get it for cheap.

Technically it wasn’t on the road but I went to my Mom’s uncle’s place and got to look at his 68 or 69 Camaro. and then I went to my grandpas farm to take a picture of the old army truck 1964 dodge D400. This truck is the one that he taught me how to drive in and yes it is a 4 speed standard.

Today I got the following. - a right angle gear box for my mower. - a cart from an auction for my welder. - an old bush bumper from an auction because it was $5 - an aluminum race car seat for my mower. - an old quad axle for guess what.......... my mower.

I got another mower today. Someone already started building it into a racer but I am going to redo it.

I have already started to cut it up.

Yes it would be easier with a long bed frame but I don’t have one. I will be extending the frame or using the back half of a revell 91 Ford frame.

I am going to try to bring it back. It will probably be a rat rod bike because there isn’t much left of it.

Today I found an old banana bike at my great grandmas place, there is also an old VW bug that my dad and friends biult into a gocart that I want to get the motor out of this summer.

Today was the final day of the mower racing and my mower only had two big problems that I got fixed fairly easy (one problem was that the back tire came of the axle because the C clip broke). I didn’t win but I came in 5th out of 16 mower which isn’t to bad for not having major engine mods. the tire that you can see behind my mower is mine that came off during the race (I was in 2nd place at the time) I ended up completing the corner and was going to try finishing the last few laps but the axle hit the ground and pulled me to the in felled. I did end up getting crowd pleasers award because of it though. Here are a couple more pics from the races. and finally a couple of othe mowers that I liked. Ok I’m just go say that no matter what happens the car WILL NOT BE SCRAPED because I will not crush an old car I don’t know why but I just can’t do it, even if I wanted to scrap prices are so low it wouldn’t be worth the gas to get to the scrapers, If the 440 and/or 727 don’t work I will take them apart to learn more about engines/transmissions, and sorry I forgot about this but my Dad reminded me that 1 year before I bought the car he talked to the owner of the car and he had it fire up.
