I got the exhaust paint and weathered I also biult a steering stabilizer. I am going to use the bumper from the montero kit.

What about this? it is a v24 with 12 871 blowers and on N20 making over 3,000 HP.

I got the paint on it today. It still needs some tuchups and stuff here and there.

As they say there’s no replacement for displacement.

It is an amt ford phantom van with a turbocharged 460. The paint will be white and rusty with FREE CANDY on the side. Comments welcome

You just put it in a big box and send it to me. Then you don’t have to worry about it.

It is a revell 1991 Ford dually that I extended into a crew cab and the front end is from an amt Ford LN 8000 and I will be using a motor from an amt white freightliner

Here’s an update. I found a set of 37” yokahama mud digger tires. And the engine and frame are painted.

I think here would be good for all the updates. I do have an on the work bench thing going for my truck to though.

Today I got an amt vanishing point challenge and I opened the box and found that there was a blower intake manifold, blower belt and a hood with a hole cut out for the blower but there was NO BLOWER. Is there something that I’m missing or was it a mistake by AMT? It’s not like I bought the kit just for the blower but why would the put all the parts for it in there? another thing that I found was that it came with a 6pack manifold and 6pack air cleaner stickers but no carbs and I was planning on using the 6pack setup.

Today I painted and weathered the frame and painted the motor. I still need to weather the valve covers and air cleaner. I want the truck to look like it was just off-roading so I used some tamiya diorama texture paint.

The orange one is from the revell mongoose 57 Chevy funny car.

Thanks. I mocked up the 390 with a homemade air cleaner, short headers from a revell mustang and 427 valve covers. The only problem is that the air cleaner is a little tall and hits the hood so I will make some shims so the hood will close more like this. I think the unaligned hood will help give it the old farm truck look.

I never notice that they had the same mirrors. It would be cool if the new 4x4 versionof the kit came with mirrors like them. I will be used a set of west coast mirrors on this truck though. I found a set of tires that I’m going to use. They are Yokohama mid diggers that are about 37 scale inches tall.

I will be building a moebius 1971 Ford that I converted to an F-250 4x4. My truck will be affordable off-roader (something a teenage like myself could afford and have some fun with)

I am thinking about trying resin casting and would like to know if I could cast parts from model kits like engines, tires, rims, seats, axles and other small things? I am wondering this because I don’t want to do anything illegal. (I would only cast them for my own personal use and would not sell them)
