I finished the suspension today. I am using the revell 37 Ford rear axle (because I like the way it looks) and the revell slingster dragster mentioned above front axle.

The driver was from the revell slingster dragster. I am using a lot of parts from this kit like front tires, engine, driver, seat and much more.

Wow I missed a lot well I was gone. Let me try to clear things up. I don’t mind the l suggestions, comments and stuff like that but it is MY model and I’m not trying to get it exactly how the 1:1 would be as I’m just trying to get out of a slump with a “fun build”. I didn’t mean to start a big thing over tires and rims I am only trying to share my biuld with everyone and so I can document it along the way. I did get a little bit of work done on it. I to biuld a different set of headers as the other ones didn’t fit the way I wanted.

I have a couple questions about Altereds. What type of rear axle do they run and do they have a roll cage?

The way I found out what it was is the front door is from a1970s ford truck and I seen an article on an older version of this truck.

Alan I am going to move the motor mounts it’s just like that for mock-up. I am still not sure what I am going to use for the front wheels yet and those are just there because they were the only ones that fit on the axle for the mock-up. The rear wheel are going to stay though. thanks everyone.

Thanks and yes I did make the couch out of a Superbird back ended and 69 Nova seat. I started building it about 2 years ago but I have not figured out what colour to paint it.
