Thank you Chris, and oh boy about the cost! I can hide the 1/25 kits from the wife but at the MFH price it is impossible. You can hide $40 bucks but when it is $650 or higher man it’s tough! I have the Dan Gurney F1 MFH car and my buddy Mark just bought me the MFH 917/30 can am car. He is holding on to it for me till I come up with the money. He buys at discount prices but even at that it is still very expensive.
Those are some cool cars!!
I need a friend like yours, saving money no mater how much is a good thing ?

I am memorized on how this build is coming together. I am in awe of the detail.
i will agree that taking your time is the best way to build a model,if you want it to look as if it was the original car.
Keep up the awesome work. When you complete it you will be super happy and proud.

Just a little update... sorry to say there has not been any progress on this build.
I have had to focus on a major renovation project on my back yard.
Happy wife = happy life
I hope to get back at this sometime soon.
for those of you that have chimed in “Thank you “ it means a lot to me

Chris, when you have the time to try out your Iwata eclipse, you may never go back to any other air brush. I have been using mine for ten years or more.
I got mine for doing RC car bodies. It works great with all kinds of paints and once you get the hang of the duel action, you do some amazing stuff with it.
Oh by the way all of your guys builds look amazing ?
look forward on the next set of updates

Looking fantastic!!!! Details take more time and usually cost more. But the results are worth it. I think we all need mental help, the more detail the more medical help is needed. LOL Keep up the great work. Love the car by the way.
I totally agree... I may need a psychiatrist?
Thank you very much

So... After thinking I was going to get some major part accomplished on this build. I got out smarted by the instructions.
The main body, has two parts. So I had everything painted and was applying decals thinking that all I need to do was attach the bottom portion to the main structure. Well....Nope!
The big number decal that sits on the side is too big for the main structure. So I needed to attach the bottom part. After trying to do this it all went to hell!
I glued the two half’s together and filled in the seams, wile doing this I sanded all the detail off of the body ☹️
So I did some searching for what some would say is a lazy way to fix my detail problem. I found some resin rivets for trains, so I bought some and I am going to give it a try
Wish me luck, I may get this thing in color again soon
