So I spent a good portion of my afternoon and evening installing the exhaust and other tid bits and also connecting the gear box to the engine.
As I get further into this, I am pleased with the direction I am going on, but it has been a little nerve racking at times, and I do walk away from it for a while, just to clear my head and refocus.
Thank you again for your support

I can't wait to see the completed build Chris. First Gran Prix I ever attended was at the Glen and this car was my first taste of a Ferrari F1 car. The sound of that v12 was unlike any other. It just screamed whereas the other cars were "simply" howling. You could tell where it was on track even though it was out of sight just from that engine. I have polaroids of walking through the garages on Friday and seeing the cars AND drivers in person. Times have certainly changed. Great job man! cheers, tim
Thank you very much Tim, it’s really appreciated! My hope is to do this build some justice.

Outstanding build you have. I like the colors. Looks much better than the wolf livery.

Wow, those wheels are amazing. Do you have a contact number or email for DBSC? I am not on Facebook and steadfastly refuse to get on (I know, behind the curve, but my social media footprint is extremely small, only YouTube and a couple of forums).
They only advertise on FB, Messenger is my only contact with them.
you may need to bite the bullet. He does stuff as small as slot cars, I think I was the first one who requested 1/12 .

Looking forward to more Chris..Cheers
Thank you for the web link!!
I had to order more fittings from RB Motion, the kit doesn’t have brake lines, so I’m going to try ?

Looks like fun! Are you going to change the color? Do tell...
keep us informed Bruce!!

A small update... I am at the mercy of the post office and other parcel services. I am waiting for some items to add some extra detail that are not part of the kit. I am also doing some research on wiring and plumbing and I seem to only get photos of half of what I am looking for... so this is where I sit anxiously waiting for mail.
thanks for looking

I did spend some of my super bowl Sunday getting some bench time.
made some seat belts, assembled the shifter. I put the radiators on and put on one of the hard lines.
I was going to install the gas tank and oil cooler, but I’m going to wait until I assemble the engine and get that installed first. I figured it would be easier to do it this way, than work around the tanks.
Thank again for looking

great start Chris! that tub looks really nice already ... could you guys leave the burrs and just go right to a bead? I’m ignurant about F1, but a fan nonetheless
... other than one more excuse for doing stupid stuff, I can’t think of anything good about getting old ... I just got my last surgery to repair my detached retina and will finally get back to a few projects ... the doc said detached retinas aren’t all that uncommon for folks over 50 ... up until then, I thought anything over 2.50 cheater glasses was cheatin’ ...
Thank you...
I am cheating...3.0 readers baby!!

Over on F1m the guys are putting the white metal parts in a 'tumbler' polishing machine...
There is no way we would get them to the right shine by hand...
Alclad on plastic however....
The funny thing is I have a tumbler. It did some parts well and other parts like it never happened
