It’s real easy to spray. Just put a few drops in your airbrush, and spray. You do not need gloss black or any gloss for that matter. This was sprayed over primer. Let it dry (a day in this case) then I dipped the spinner into future. Now I can take the spinner off and not hurt the chrome.

Nice. I may have to give it a try on my next project

I have some very good friends that help me with these kits. Mark would let me make payments on these kits. He has kits that are out of this world. I saw a Bugatti kit that was 1/8 scale and all hand made of brass. Total detail to the right bolts. This kit was $7800 from Italy. Only a few were made. I just received a gurney eagle f1 mfh kit from Mark. Traded for it. Otherwise I could not do it either. Although I just got my irs check and really thinking of the new  mfh Porsche 917 can am Sunoco car. I just hope something else does not come up so I can get it. By the way he has tha Alfretta kit. Great kit! Just outstanding. Bugatti fan you need to get this. These kits are good investments as Mark buys several mfh kits that are the same. Since mfh makes only 500 kits he waits several years and then sells the other 2 to pay for the one kit. He can afford it. The rich get richer. He’s also very smart. I wish I could do that.

Sounds like you have found yourself a good friend to help achieve your dream kit.

    keep up the stellar work.

one day I would love to have a chance to build one

Just looked in on your build today, looking good, I'll be following your progress.

I'm a huge fan of F1, try to watch all the seasons races. Have favorites of course but am not telling. I've followed F1 for years and have seen so many changes, WOW.

Am also a very big fan of sports cars. My first was a "Bug Eyed" Sprite followed by a 356A Porsche then as they say Life got in the way. Oh, and I took driving lessons while I was in England. It was with the 1956-7-8 formula 3 world champion, Jim Russell. Wanted to get my FIA license but was shipped back to the States so never got it.

    Thank you!!

At least you had the opportunity to get you FIA License!!

Yea, I am a big sports car fan.. by then again I am a fan of forms of cars and race cars.

I am a Ferrari fan, but I am a fan of quality drivers and motor sports history.

  4. So after an exhausting time of stripping the paint off of the main body and re priming it with grey instead of white.

I got the correct color tone that matches the rest of the car. I found this out when I was laying down decals. I noticed that some of the decals are bigger and I need to put the bottom half of the main part together.

I realized that the base primer I used was white and not grey, so the tone was lighter than it should have been....ooops ?

now I am back to where I started.

For those of you who are checking in

    Than you !

Mooneyes a big Thank you for listening and encouraging me.

    Chris
