Thanks! No actually they were chrome strips that came in the kit the stripes are from the mustang gth kit

George- that's a good idea I love any and all cars bu ive mostly built imports and have only recently gotten into American cars so that's a good thIng to know I'll have to remember that!

awesome build! how did you do the rear tires? are they just dually wheels with out the outter wheel or are they from a kit?

Hi all heres my latest project its revell's 65 Chevelle SS, I messed up the paint on the roof so I decided to cut it off and make it a convertible with a Pro Touring look. This is my first dive into "customizing" a car and wiring an engine, I hope to get better as its a lot more fun than just building everything OOB. It has front seats from a 06 Mustang GT they fit pretty good, I used cranberry red felt for the carpet, visors and convertible top, also it has pegasus 19" cross drilled rotors and the rims are from the revell monte carlo snap kit. I still have to make finishing touches Door handles wipers etc....but I think it turned out pretty good for my first build in over 7 years any comments tips etc would be greatly appreciated Dante
