  1. Huh? I never heard of this rig before. I thought I knew all the Red Ovals, and yet this was never mentioned on your site. Then again, not many people heard of the 397 before, either. P.S., nice work!
  2. As weird as it is, it must be real. Then again, it's not as weird as the "What the?" Volkswagen Beetle.
  3. Wow, I never thought I'd see the day when someone built a model of the original Smokey & the Bandit rig! Good luck on this project! One note: Don't forget to paint the Kenworth logo gold, just like the movie truck (though I think in some shots, it was regular silver).
  4. After examining this car & the one in the background, I'd say it's the real thing.
  5. I can't tell, given the background trickery.
  6. Hmmm...after a bit of analysis, it appears to be real.
  7. It's real. If it were a model, then the builder would have to be a mutant.
  8. That's a cool truck! It almost looks like a police truck.
  9. Hey, congratulations on finally finishing it! Looks great!
  10. I've been having good luck, so I'd say "model".
  11. WOW! By the looks of this rig, you must've been lucky enough to score an Astro Turbine kit, or you took some parts from a Chevy Titan kit.
  12. Most definitely a model. I mean, there is a real bubble-roof Cadillac from the 50's, but not this one.
  13. Sweet! That's like getting 2 trucks for the price of one!
  14. What about an Autocar DC-64?
  15. It's a model. It looks pretty phony to me.
  16. Nice looking truck! I've also started work on a GMC General (actually, it's a Chevy Bison). 116" BBC? Really? I thought the Bison/General were only available with 96" & 108" BBC lengths. UPDATE: You're correct. My memory was a little fuzzy there.
  17. It's real. Nothing here that says "background trickery".
  18. Actually, I believe The Big 4's cab was called the "Driver's Cab". I'm not sure, though.
