  1. Carbon, chrome & orange. That makes a beautiful combination. One of the most creative uses of these chopper kits that I've seen. robw
  2. A few years ago I airbrushed Tamiya Smoke on the inside of the Revell Indy canopy. If you've built that kit it's a big clear bowl. Did it on the inside with many many applications of very light coats applied quickly. I would do one pass and then allow it to dry completely before the next pass. The paint of course wanted to pool at the bottom of the bowl. After I was finally finished and satisfied with the colour it was lightly sanded to thin some runs and remove dust specs then polished. Time consuming but the results were satisfactory. rob w
  3. Tamiya Nato Black also makes a good starting point for the Ebony color used in C6 Corvette interiors. I just add a little pure grey and some gloss. rob
  4. Box stock but not quite factory stock. Tuxedo Black was available only with Silver coves. Sorry to nitpick. Take your time and this kit will build up into a beautiful model. rob
  5. Very nice job on this Vette. From a kit that is getting fairly old you've created a charmer. Of course being red helps. All Corvettes are RED, the rest are just mistakes. Rob
  6. Looks great Bob. I agree with the other comments that your choice of wheels was the perfect decision. I used that color on another project last month and it lays down and polishes up very nicely. While not factory correct a red interior would set it off perfectly. Rob W
