  13. Yep, Gregg truly is a great guy, has a GREAT magazine and runs the best model car forum I've found on the web. I've spoken with him several times at the various events. He's always smiling and has a great sense of humor, even when his back is bothering him. I wish you continued happiness and success with the hobby and the magazine. We're looking forwad to seeing you at the NNL West in March. Regards,
  14. Yeah...I know that Woodland sells them...the problem is that the LHS doesn't carry them. I may have to try to find them online. Thanks,
  15. I've got to tell you Virgil, I've seen and admired a lot of your work, but I think that it's gonna be a while before you can top this one!! This thing is just way to freakin cool for words!! Keep up the GREAT work and thanks for sharing,

    FYI

Jairus? Jairus who??? Just kidding...I couldn't resist!!
  17. Virgil, Did you use Press-Tight letters for the valve covers? I tried to by some several months ago at Michaels...I knew that once I had to explain to their store manager what they were that they didn't carry them. Some hobby shops carry the different sizes and font types in their train section for lettering buildings, but these days it's hard to find a LHS, let alone one that carries a technology that old... Keep up the great work and the posts!!
  18. I'll second that!! Great job, Lyle!! Everything comes together really well!! The tailgate design is really well done!! Thanks for sharing,
  19. Welcome, Jürgen!! I really like your Camaro!! The color, detail, stance and profile all look GREAT!! Later,
  20. Brendan, It look like you're going to have a pretty big box full of goodies for the NNL West in March!! See you there!!
  21. WOW!!! It just keeps getting better!!
  22. Hey Virgil, One thing you might try for blending the wings and tail into the body is the premixed vinyl spackling compound. It dries quick, bonds to plastic and doesn't shrink much. Don't get the lightweight stuff. It doesn't work as well as the standard blend. Give it a try on a test piece to see how you like it. I've used it before for that type of work and had good results. Roughen up the surface that you're going to apply it to for optimal adhesion. Later,
  23. Virgil...you mad man...that thing is just too freakin cool for words!!! I can hardly wait to see this one finished!!!
  24. Michael, I know that Chris at SMBC will make custom decals. As I recall, he's right down the street from you. Later,
  25. Ismael, I really like this one!! Everything about it is right on the money!! Yes, a fire extinguisher that big belongs more in an early British car than it does in a late-model Chevy!! Keep up the GREAT work and thanks for sharing!! Later,
