  1. By far I think mine was my 1977 nova. I have had 5 of them (different years) but the 77 was my fave.
  2. So. I had one of these back in like 91-92 it was the turbo v6 but would later be replaced with a 406. Just picked up an old mpc kit with chopper gona build it like the one I had. Mine was the same paint combo as the pic. OH TO BE 20 SOMTHING AGAIN!!!
  3. Here are a few more of my older builds. The maroon nova is of a 68 that my bro owned when I was about 12. The white one is of the 77 that I owned till about 5 years ago.
  4. So when I bought this kit, the other half was with me and asked if she could pick out the colors. I think she did a heck of a job.
  5. New to the site, wasn't sure where to post these pics. So here they are. Everything scratch built on the modified except the sub frame. That came from a chevelle. My first entire scratch build, was a lot of fun. Took me about 4 months to build. Trailer is also scratch built.
  6. Thanks I dug through the parts bin and actually found a GM transfer case and front differential scratch built the front locking hubs and front drive shaft. I will post some more pics.
  7. Thanks for all the comments. I will be posting more pics of my builds, a lot of 1:1 models of cars that I have had and that inspire me.
  8. Here is my 93 Cheyenne 3'' drop in the rear,2'' drop in the front. 331 stroker 700r4 trans with shift kit 2500 stall converter 3.73 posi rear. Also the model I built of it.
  9. Here are a couple I have bean working on. The suburban is now 4x4, going to be finished in krylon teal and white. The bronco I opened up the rear wheel arches by making a pattern from the front. Then used .010 styrene to form the raised part of the arch. Cut the stock roof down to make the cab top and used .030 styrene to make the back window frame. Bumpers are styrene tubing.
  10. Hello everybody. I am a 55 year old modeler since a child. Live in NY state. Not a pro modeler but love the hobby and am looking forward to being a member on this site. I tend to do mostly muscle and hot rods. Build a lot of 1:1 cars that family and friends have owned.
