  1. The chevelle is done. Not my best work , but turned out OK.
  2. This is one I built back in 2015. The modified is all scratch built and the trailer also.
  3. Nice!!! I like where your going with this. I had the same kit. Built mine pretty much box stock, with the exception of a set of cragers that I widened. Will be watching.?
  4. This took me forever to finish. But its finally done. Had issues with the paint back in 2018. Put it away. Top original kit full top cut down. Bumpers and side steps are scratch built. Rear wheel openings are original that I radiused and built out with styrene.
  5. Got the top painted on the chevelle. Hope to have it done in a few days.
  6. So while the clear is hardening on the chevelle. Thought maybe ill try to get one more in the books. This was started 2014-15? Building it to match the 1:1 I had back in the late 80s. Was originally a 1980 turbo, spanked turbo v6. I built a 355 and dropped in it. Turbo 400 trans. Wish I had some pics of mine. Another one I miss!!☹️ The 1:1 pic is just like the one I had
  7. The chevelle, color sanded and cleared. Couple days to cure and get the top painted.
  8. Both are very nice!!!, but then I am partial to 68-69 chevelle and malibu. This is my (boyd) entry.
  9. Got color on the chevelle. Let it stand for a couple days then color sand and clear.
  10. Noticed the hood had some pretty good side gaps, so built them out. Got primer on the rest of the body. picked my color. Hope to get it painted tomorrow. Might throw some flames on it????
  11. Thanks for all your comments.
  12. Started this one like early 2019. Doing old school. High front end, vinyl top, blown 455 olds, headers and side pipes. Not sure yet on the color.
  13. So here is the hole package. The camper is finished and hitched up. Are we there yet!!?
  14. Finished up the camper today. Got another one in the books.?
  15. Suburban is done. Now on to finishing up the scratch built camper.
  16. So got the suburban done. Got the mirrors and roof rails from the GMC plow truck. The 4x4 components were taken from an old 4x4 chevy pu. Now to finish the camper. Thanks for looking. Comments welcome.
  17. So started this over a year ago, just kinda hit a wall, so put it back in the box. Got looking at it a couple weeks ago, and thought lets finish it. Almost there. Got the Honda trail 70 from another member here, (Thanks). Some of you may remember the Burban and the scratch built camper. Getter done !!
  18. Sweet!! Very nice scratch building. You have inspired me to go back to an F250 bug out vehicle that kinda stalled out.
  19. I actually got my hands on a malibu flat hood (resin). Think that will look better with a hole cut in it.
  20. Got a little more done on the malibu/chevelle. Scratch built header style inlets for the side pipes, and dropped the carbs down a little on the blower. Any input or comments always welcome. Also removed emblems.
  21. I like to build old school. A lot of my fondest memories of cars were of the cars my oldest brother and his buddies drove around back in the early 70s. My father was an engine builder on the side also. So we always had muscle and stock cars settin around our house. Pretty sweet childhood!
  22. Think I am going to eliminate the ss badges and call it a Malibu.
  23. No think the 396 that was in this kit got used in another project, This engine is a big block oldsmobile
