Thought I would show my latest WIP since its about half way done, just need to finish the weathering, find an engine, finish the interior and add the little bits. This started out for me when I got it in a swap, it has a very rough body {no primer used, just heavy lac paint, etched pretty deep} so it was only fitting to do a weathered shop truck, its missing ALOT of parts, but mostly the hood inserts are bugging me, anyone have a spare set PM me. Thanks for looking. EDIT; Why do my pictures look distorted? Robert

Just for those who think all SOHC's had the spark plugs on top..... When you thinks about it, the AMT 66 Galaxie SOHC has the correct valve covers for this early engine style.

Looking good. First "bent" master cylinder I've ever seen

Looks close. The biggest problem with any kit parts that I've seen is the timing cover, there close but not right. I like the T-bolt block as a starting point.

How about doing one with two fronts and then you could do one with two rears

"Bring Out Your Dead" Completion Build--ROUND 2 Is On!
vintageford replied to Snake45's topic in WIP: Model Cars
OK, I'll play, with the "on the books" that it still may not get finished anytime soon! This is AMT 49 Ford that I started back in the late 70's, its had no less than 10 paint jobs, I'm pretty pleased with this one which I did about three years ago, Rustoleum straight out of the can. Put the flames on last year and back in the box it went. Still have no direction on the interior or what engine I;ll use. Time will tell. Robert -
