thank. I remember spending hours threading the PE buckles with ribbon. I am still mad about that sparco decal. Never even noticed it until it had dried. I spend hours on trying to soften it back up... but it's done.
  3. I wouldnt mind a stock Starliner; rather have a skyliner though.
  4. awe a cute lil TR Dolomite

  13. yup, Dale, now ya gone and done it. You've inspired me to put mine back on the bench and only hope to get close yours. I've taken it all down to a bare chassis bottom.

oh yeah, looks good. Looks like you have the WB sorted out, too.
  16. I agree with that. That was my first thought: just open them up, which will probably look fine, particularly in this case where they are body color, but I am working on an insert for the side fins. IIRC It would be more prototypical to the real car and some were left natural metal, some painted body color, and some painted black. Second, the fins overlap one another to a small degree, which cannot be done by simply opening them up. They were a little inset, too.
  17. Acura failed tech and was DQed

It was severly damaged after moving three times. It was a specail edition Hase kit with PE, vinyl for all the mud flaps and under carriage shields and Cartographics.
  19. well the new rules and from what I seen in practice, qualifying and the race, it but it back very much into the drivers hands. It may even be a three way fight for the title this year, as BMW is showing real strength. nevertheless, Bernie is still kind of the devil on loose. Well most crashed out more broke down. Only 1 DQ issued so far.
  20. Which one three of them flipped at LeMans... it happened twice to one driver.
  21. Yeah, I like the V8 Supercars, too. I wish we got more coverage of them here. Now some are calling for Hamilton's head. Technically he should be DQed for violating after race weight-in rules, which states the driver is not to come in contact with anyone before weight-in on the way to the podium. I guess we will have to wait and see how much squawking is rasied and by who before the stewards make a call on that one. Not a good day for Ferrari. Not all was lost though, It was a great day for Porsche at Sebring. Now it's coming down to only 4 of 22 with a clean finish. Nakajima will be serving a penalty next race Barrichello was DQed Hamilton DQ pending ???
  22. actually not so much. Yes, he did spin, but I am sure he could have finished higher, his car had a problem and fell off pace for a couple laps before quiting all together. Very unusual for Ferrari to have these kind of relablity issues. Basically the same thing for Massa, it wasn't his off track excursions that put him out, his car just quit running.
  23. Yeah, it doesn't get any better than that, the two titans (classic Ferrari Vs. Porsche) battling it out literially blow for blow after 12 hrs at Sebring it comes down to the last corner of the last lap. That was some great stuff.
