Hahahaha! The nice thing is that I already had all the parts ready--I literally just glued up things. The orange wheels were painted like that for another project, the VW body was already cut up and in primer.
So the actual assembly is what took 30 minutes.
Yep it's was a one-day build--from early morning to late in the night. Ask my wife--she wasn't too happy! The blue cames from some no-name cheap spray enamel I bought at a hardware store. I think the whitewalls came from two kits--the 1928 MPC Lincoln, and the 1932 Cord.
Another of my models-in-a-hurry. I needed something new for a contest. Although I didn't get any prizes (didn't expect to, either), some of my modeling buddies liked this little spidery thing a lot. Gotta love primer!
