i wanted to try some serious mods to a model and make something still factory stock but custom so i got a lindberg 72 challenger kit 2 weeks ago as it was cheaper then a round 2 or revell challenger kit are plus it came with a nose cone and had the right tail lights for this concept i used a 69 charger rear roof line and a roadster rear seat cover i had in my parts box and made the rear spoiler from a miscellaneous bumper from th parts box also some side pipes and hemi air cleaner from the parts box i had alot of issues with the putty chipping and craking as i sanded and shapped the new body contours so i had to glue the chiped off parts back on and sanded everything very lightly after words so it really is not all that smooth i painted it testors extreme lacquer fiery orange

this is the new amt snap kit which surprised me with the level of detail there was with this kit from it having a engine to multi piece chassie both are not common to snap kits which are closer to promos in thier level of detail i painted it in testors extreme lacquer icy blue i plan to get a couple more so i can do the the other engine and wheel and hood options and do the other as a droptop

thanks i never been a fan of the super reflective chrome plating the model companies use it thows alot of glare when the sun hits it and it throws off the color balance of the pictures so i repaint most of the chrome plated parts in metallic silver spray paint
