  3. i made this australian version of the amc amx which were built by australian motors industries under the rambler brand i used a vintage jo-han 1969 amx kit with a 3d resin printed figure of me standing next to the drivers side i made the right hand drive dash by taking a picture of the kit dash and uploading that picture into a image to 3d model generator then i 3d resin printed it in rhd layout i painted the body rust-oleum 2x satin french blue and then used rust-oleum universal gloss clear to make it look as close as i could to hayman blue i painted the interior rust-oleum 2x flat black primer the rims and tires came from my parts boxes and the queensland plate decals were made by a friend 1969 AMI Rambler AMX.mp4
  4. except they are from the the late 70's as dukes of hazzard started pre production in 77/78 and the 69 charger was not the main choice for the general the first choice was a 77/78 trans am but they were far to pricy and the second choice was a late 60's mustang but they could not find enough of one particualy body style on the budget they had for cars and then they turned to late 60's or early 70's chevelles once again similar problems as the trans am and mustang choices the price verse the budget so the 69 charger was chosen cause they were everywere and dirt cheap at the time same with the 68's which could easily be converted to look like a 69 most of the cars were either 318s or 383s only 2 had 440 magnums and those were used as hero cars when the hood would need to be opened and when the actors got in and out and drove on and off camera were ever they would be filming no hemi engines were used in the tv cars and and contrary to urban legend no 70 chargers were ever used to make a general lee for the show as multiple actors and the people who built the cars have said this they also have no clue were both the notion the general had a hemi under the hood and that 70 charger were also used came from the first original car choice for the general was the only thing influenced the smokey and the bandit movie while the main show idea was developed from a 1975 movie called moonrunners which was also created and produced by gy waldron who was the dukes of hazzard's creator and producer lots of characters and settings were retooled for the dukes of hazzard even waylon jennings was brought back both to provide music and he narration for dukes which he also had done for the moonrunners movie
  5. they are but those are what they wanted to use for the general lee's rims
  6. still looking just so others know these are basicaly revese vectors due to them sloping up to the center cap
  7. ok cool thanks
  8. i am not even sure if any 1/25 or 1/24 scale shelby kits came with these particular rims but they were what the general lee's designer originally want to use for the general's rims but could not get them as they were to hard to get enough of and cheap enough so he chose the racing vectors as they were a similar design but easier to get alot of and were cheap enough and they just stuck shelbly logos on the center caps
  9. awesome work
  10. thank you i have another modern charger general lee i am going to make and that is the 2025/2026 dodge charger six pack coupe
