thank you and it is cool but i have never done lighting in any type of model and would not know the first thing about doing it unless it was plug and play type plus there is not alot of room to stuff big batteries like 9v or aa or aaa that most lighting requires i was thinking about using the lighting and battery units from the jada 1/24 scale die-cast knight rider models in the aoshima knight rider kits

this is model 3 of my knight rider reboot of the original show idea it would be a 1 to 1 remake of the original show episodes and set in the same time frame as the original but all of KITTs functions are voice activated and there is a dash mounted holographic heads up display were all video calls and case info could be projected onto the inside of the windshield I also borrowed the voice modulator design from the 08 series and instead of a firebird they choose to use a camaro instead this is how I reimagined the super pursuit mode to look it is a mix of the original George barris design for season 4 and the attack mode from the 08 knight rider series This was classicgas’s blue 85 camaro z/28 I got in a trade so I could make this with it

A friend on another. Site found one of the aoshima knight rider KITT model kits as well as two of the amt/ertl knight rider 2000 knight 4000 kits and a amt/ertl 1991 firebird gta at his favorite secret model spot he goes to twice a month he won’t tell me we’re it is or what it is called I think cause he knows I am on this forum and does not want me mentioning it and he looses his secret model shot shop my friend does sci-fi models not cars but apparently this place has vintage and modern kits of all kinds and there is always something new that’s why he goes early in the month and late in the month

thanks i have only watched two episodes of the original show a early episode and late episode both were horrible all the actors were either wooden or phoneing it in and nothing was funny and none of it made sense to me and i saw the first half of the first theatrical film it was horrid also i had only watched it case i had just seen the first jackass movie and i wanted to see johnny knoxville in something else i had found a dvd copy of that dukes movie at a yard sale for 5 cents and there was a second homemade dvd with those two episodes of the original show i ended up snapping both disks in half and shredded the dvd case artwork i later looked up more about the show only to find more about it that did not make sense both for the car and the backstory for the duke cousins i also never liked country music as it is just annoying noise to me so the theme was never fun to listen to plus most of the lyrics did not even make sense to the plot of the show and no other action show in the late 70's and 80's had theme songs with lyrics only family or group of friends centered sitcoms and animated shows did and a narrator/balladeer was not needed for a stand alone episode series a narrator at the start and end of a episode is really only needed on shows with a season or series long story arc like the pokemon anime or stargate universe or even the newer trek shows and on shows that had two or 3 part episodes or season cliffhangers which all are more recaps with either it starting with previously on then the recap or just a bunch of import scenes or dialogue from previous episodes at the start and the end of said episodes a to be continued also i still think they would have got better actors for the show if they had set it in a small town in california to start plus most of the action shows that were rivals of dukes were set in california as the main characters are based out of with one set in hawaii

this is a 1/25 scale model of KITT from the knight rider pilot knight of the phoenix with the jon ward designed nose that was put on two of the 3 trans ams used for the 20 minute pilot presentation that would be expanded into the two part series pilot the rest was filmed later after they had filmed season 1 so that's why KITT's design kept switching from this version to the main first 2 season version and why the hoffs sideburns kept switching from less fuller to more fuller and why twards the end michael's gun shot wombed in his shoulder kept switching sides i decided to base KITT's turbine engine on the one that fanhome uses for their 1/8 scale subscription based model kit

Thank you Dukes as well as all other shows at the time had all the interior shots of the actors in the vehicles driving done on a sound stage in front of a blue screen only knight rider had the actors filmed in the car while actually on the road driving and those cars had tow bar receivers attached to the bottom of the front end so they could be attached to a camera truck they also attached cameras to the side windows to film the inside shots with the actors from those angles if they did remake it they best set in the late 70’s early 80’s instead of trying to set it in the current time mainly cause it did not work so well last time they tried it on the big screen movie of the mid 2000’s and it did not work to well with the A-team movie or the 08/09 Knight Raider series which also had other contributing factors to why it did not succeed the only 3 classic series that did work well bringing it into the current times was the 2010-2020 Hawaii Five-0 and 2018-current magnum pi and the 2016-2021 macgyver but to do it they had to do a full reboot remake on all 3 from the characters to the way the series was set up and way it was written compared to the original versions
