this is the atlantis models 1/1200 scale model from the us combat task force fleet kit with a few extra fighter planes from the the revell of germany 1/1200 scale uss enterprise cv-6 kit i brush painted the hull and island apple barrel gloss dark grey acrylic paint and brush painted the flight deck apple barrel gloss black acrylic paint the planes i painted rust-oleum 2x ultra matte evening navy USS HORNET CVA 12.mp4

would i be able to swap the moebius kits ford f series chassis with ones from a amt 60 ford f100 or 63 ford f100 kits or would there be fitment issues as i prefer the simple amt chassis over the multi piece chassis of the moebius kits

i do not want that country charger glue kit for multiple reasons 1 the crappy back bumper that does not fit the body and 2 it does not have cb radio/antenna and 3 no dukes decals and 4 it only has hemi engine which none of the tv cars had most were either 383s or 318s and a couple were 440s the 2005 movie car only had a 426 hemi after the car was rebuilt but it was only on screen general lee car to have a hemi so the snap kit version elimates the forth issue

this is part of a what if series of models the what if subject is what if the dukes of hazzard was made in australia and set in the fictional small town of hazzard south australia this is my third car build in this series of models i made this using a front end and hood from a resin casted curbside 77 ford xc falcon body and a majority of a 65 el camino the right hand drive dash was made from a 71-73 mustang dash parts the bench seat and cb radio and antenna and taillights and rims/tires from my parts boxes i hand made south australian versions of uncle jessie's truck license plates i weathered the body to look dusty and dirty using a mix of apple barrel matte tuscan red ,matte chestnut and matte nutmeg brown mixed together and dissolved in water in a empty windex spray bottle and sprayed on the body and then dabbed off with a piece of paper towel i painted the body rust-oleum 2x flat white primer and painted the interior rust-oleum 2s flat black primer 1977 ford xc falcon ute.mp4
