the rear axle and trailing arms are going onto another project too.... you'll see

yea i noticed that too.... but the trans sits real low and i gotta adjust the angle of the rear axle.... it kinds points up a bit one of the reasons why the rear isn't painted yet remember i told u about test fitting

nah... no posable suspension... just as real lookin as possible.... almost got a rolling chassis...

gonna be a cool ride man....

scratchbuilt some hydraulic cylinders... and fitted them up to the chassis

update on the 57 stepside.... a little bit of penwork and clear...

still in the same condition as when u last saw it

i hope u didn't glue that sheet plastic onto the back of the truck..... make a frame for it then you can mount it on the truck like a real one

i'm trying to focus on that 57 stepside i'm workin on in my topic for a buildoff on layitlow forums.... after that i'll get back to it

then i shot some color on it....

Buckskin Metallic... here's a few updates.... some comparison shots to an almost stock frame (notched the rear already) nasty mold lines and sinkmarks.... cleaned... removed spare tire cover since i got a side mount... molded c-notch... molded the frame graft.... rounded the body mount ends for a cleaner look.... cleaned it up more today.... did a wetsand and another coat of primer....

i'd rather keep that trash out of here here's a little bit of an update....

thats why i post pics like that.... its a learning process for me as well.... i just wanna share what i learn.... best way to go about this kind of work is to find reference pics of the real deal... here's one i used...
