exactly.... the car did not have to be raised for those wheels to fit..... i think any wheels that will fint in the fenderwells and be lowered are ok...... NOT DONK.... anything bigger i wouldn't like anyway..... and yes, i'm sure EVERYONE will agree that even if he keeps the bigger size all around that it'll still be a huge improvement over the camaro wheels.... this is a donk.... to me they might as well demolition derby the thing..... at least the pain does't stick around.... P.S. sorry for th long winded reply... didn't mean to sound like "Bluesman Mark"

quick update for my 82 malibu wagon.... decided to upgrade the front suspension.... cut off the kit stuff.... adding a 70 monte carlo front.....

watch how u use the word "donks"..... those wheels are nowhere near donk status.... i would never had recommended any "donk" stuff..... on another note..... the chevelle wagon has an awesome stance even with the rear not slammed....

finally finished up the jambs and hinges on the 70 monte.... time for some primer to see where it needs work..... keep in mind this is the first time i've gotten this far with opening up doors....

the closest u could get is to graft the front clip of a diecast Jada Avalanche or the Lexani SS silverado diecast....

yea, i've thought of puttin some cragars on it..... i got those supremes from the 70 impala kit.... the same kit comes with pretty awesome set of cragars as well... as far as the chrome front and rear corners, i really don't kno.... i kno that some of the guys did that back in th days.... the guys in cali can drive their stuff down to Mexico and get chrome for cheap.....

just realized i never showed my 77 monte carlo here yet.... still needs clear and some interior detailing tho....

busy day for me today.... i finished the motor and body on this car months ago.... had a hard time with the interior.... first color i sprayed i didn't like..... then the second one i sprayed got messed up.... same can that messed up on the roof of my 77 monte before.... i think the paint in that can is no good or something.... well now i finally got the interior sprayed where i'm happy with it.... time to do the flocking on the floor and other details.... should be wrapping it up soon.... put some fat whites on this one....

after i cut the roof off the monte.... test fit showed it to be pretty close fit.... so i started chopping it up.... needs a bit more work on the rear....

quick tip duplicolor whitewall touchup paint..... make the revell junk tires look good..... make the pegasus 5.20s...

got bored today.... 77 monte..... chopped the roof off.... made my own vert boot for it too :cool:

gotta go with the big-n-littles now buddy... those wheels make a world of difference.... keep the suspension exactly where it set right now... just put the smaller "T's" up front and you'll have a mean rake goin on.....

free detail wire for u then I cut, fabricate and install custom granite, marble, travertine, etc. stone countertops and stuff.....

i gotta get one of them bodies too now....

here's another project i have on the backburner waitin for me to get back on it...
