  2. i'll be building it someday soon... i got a lot of projects going already tho ... its a Modelhaus resin body that i've had for about a year already..... some work i did on the motor for a 60 impala kit... aluminum air cleaners from the my homie DoUgH.... cut up one of them permanent coffee filters for the filter element... less than $6 brand new but this one was used so its got the weathered look got a little messy doin the wires on the distributor tho... i need to pick up more of the thick superglue like Zapagap or somethin... i hate this cheap runny dollar stuff i got now

  10. i'm very upset... you could have used a 60 impala to do that!!!! i would have gladly traded you a kit for the el camino body.....
  11. use regular elmer's white glue for the lights.... dries clear and don't mess up the plastic truck looks good....
  12. most of the guys here probably know but i'll share anyway.... i use 1/16 copper tube and 1/32 brass rod for my hinges.... cost under $3 i think for a pair of them.... i get at my local hobby shop... the rod should fit snug in the tube... roll the blade on the tube to scribe it... you should be able to just break off the tube after u make a cut around it witht he blade.... assemble and bend like here..... this is for a trunk...narrower for the doors all i used is a pliers and a knife....
  13. started to do the trunk jambs too.... still need to be finished.... made the trunk hinge already....
  14. then i did the jambs for the other side too and fitted up the door panel too....
  15. stayed off the comp for most of the day and looky here... i got some building done..... i fitted up the door panel.... kinda made it up as i went along.... came out ok....
  16. started doin the door jambs on my monte carlo this morning.... added in a pin for the door locks
  17. and i end up opening things up..... no breaks YET
  18. puttin fresh plastic in front of me is like havin a beautiful woman laid out in front of me..... i gotta do somethin to it
  19. try using a duplicolor "filler primer" next time.... help to get rid of that line goin across the door
  20. the limo and the hearse are old castings and as far as i know are not currently in production.... you can find some on ebay once in a great while but expect to pay a good pricetag the sedan can be purchased at http://www.betoscustomdesigns.com
