those cylinders are temporary until i get more of these... as far as springs go.... a street cruiser would have really short coils to lay low.... a hopper uses a taller stack to get more bounce and suspension travel... accumulators aren't used on hoppers.... they are just basically used as shock absorbers for a cruiser.... when a car is raised up, the hydraulics make the ride very stiff so the bladders in accumulators allow movement for the fluid in the system

decided not to do the front suspension halfway on the 82 Malibu wagon and took it to another step.... scratchbuilt the front frame section and crossmember.... i'm gonna see how much cleanup it needs after i shoot some primer.....

after workin on the sedan last night i still felt like chopping stuff up.... so today...... AMT Fast and Furious 69 Camaro comes with that boot :biggrin: got a whole lineup now.... well actually i need a 2-door sedan but i'll save that for later

call me crazy....

check if a 65 impala convertable boot would fit.... also, i used "color tool" paints for the body and interior of this car too....

last mockups for tonight

here's an interior mockup.... painted the back of rear seat too painted the floorpans as well.... time for the detailing....

fixed those front seats..... interior comin together.....

then i masked off everything but the gauges and misted on a darker brown to give a wood look... just needs details now.....

here's the dash.... primered it and shot a base color.... masked it off... painted the lower half body color.... then i masked off the bottom and gauges and sprayed the top...

got these at Home Depot

monte update..... got some primer on the body.... started workin the interior too.... i gotta redo the front seats... the mold lines stood out more than i thought they would... quick sanding and another coat and they be all good
