  1. Did you build the hood hinge yourself or did it come in the kit?
  2. Yes please, more pictures! Particularly any of the build. Your model puts anything I could build or even conceptualise to shame! Do you have a Facebook or Instagram etc page? Dave
  3. BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH, somebody beat me to it! It's a beautiful model though, do you know any more about it?
  4. I hope this has been of interest, let me know if you want to see more. Dave
  5. Got another junk body today; that makes three plus a stash kit. Also I found a Jimmy Flintstone truck twincab on line that I can modify if the size is compatible, cutting off the mud guards (fenders to you in the U.S. of A.).
  6. Primed. Differing colours befuddled me:
  7. Cutting over, here's how they look unprimed"
  8. I'm two or three 53 junk bodies offa Ebay and a 1996 Ford Explorer 4X4 junker from a local swap meet. I'm going to use its' chassis, running gear and maybe the dash. I don't know how compatible t hey are in real life but as models they fit together well. Here's the first cut:
  9. Here's my highly detailed schematic (apologies to the photo owner, I can't remember who you are):
  10. So I'm building a twin cab because I've never seen one. Seen stretched, single and lengthened cab but no twin cab ( DumpyDan photos):
  11. Great work mate, really outside of the box, which I really admire. Please keep posting updates.
  12. Hey I'm in Brisbane as well, Aspley on the North side. Where are you (if you want to tell me that is). Dave
  13. Very nice, well done!
  14. Nice work, I'll be following this
  15. Do you have any more photos of either of them, I'm really interested. Dave
  16. Just discovered these, they are fantastic! Any more info anywhere on the builds?
  17. Great work with incredible detail. I especially like the dashboard. What do you use to make the molds?
  18. Thanks to all above, especially with pictures. Foxer your fine cutting skills are impressive. I've ordered some mould making silicon putty that I'm hoping I can make a mould with to make resin copies that I can use like Foxer and ShawnS have done. I dunno about 3D stuff. Dave
  19. Very, very nice
  20. https://www.lightmybricks.com/collections/lego-light-kits. They make a range of light kits for Lego models that I plan to adapt to put into my model: Sorry about the big size, I don't know how to re-size. Dave
  21. I've ordered some of this to see if I can make a dashboard mould myself, stay tuned!
