Thanks! There's a few things I don't like at all. But I guess I know what not to do the next time.

My first attempt at scratch building a roll cage.

Getting a little more done. Firewall fitted, had to narrow the rear end a little more to fit the wheels in and low enough.

First attempt at modding a hood. I think it'll be ok once I get some body work done in it.

Going to be a bunch of work to get things to fit. I just didn't like how thick the wheel tubs were. So cut them out and made some new ones.

Started on a new project a few days ago.

Thanks for the kind words. As I'm fairly green on getting back into the hobby after many years. Just about everything I do, is for the first time or an experiment for me. I started on the trim and I decided I wanted to make a small base also.

Got some color on it tonight. Now the fun can begin.

Ive done this and used a Beer or soda can for the aluminum.

I've had these kits kicking around for a long time. I got them from a friend in a pile of stuff. There isn't enough parts to build a a complete car. So I figured I'd make it as an old Gasser left outside to die.

Ive seen guys do this on 1:1 rat rods before and it looks cool. There are a few vids out that show how they do it.
