Thanks! There's a few things I don't like at all. But I guess I know what not to do the next time.

Getting a little more done. Firewall fitted, had to narrow the rear end a little more to fit the wheels in and low enough.

Going to be a bunch of work to get things to fit. I just didn't like how thick the wheel tubs were. So cut them out and made some new ones.

Thanks Guys! Making the base was really a lot of fun for my first time.

Thank you. I definitely had fun with this one.

Thanks for the kind words. As I'm fairly green on getting back into the hobby after many years. Just about everything I do, is for the first time or an experiment for me. I started on the trim and I decided I wanted to make a small base also.

Ive done this and used a Beer or soda can for the aluminum.

I've had these kits kicking around for a long time. I got them from a friend in a pile of stuff. There isn't enough parts to build a a complete car. So I figured I'd make it as an old Gasser left outside to die.

Ive seen guys do this on 1:1 rat rods before and it looks cool. There are a few vids out that show how they do it. Here is one that I found right quick. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/NgFWkzbZBt8" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> -

Looks great! Are you going to mold the box into the cab and make it one piece? Or put the back of the cab in there? I never understood why no-one ever made a dually kit of the 70/80's Chevy/ GMC. -

I like it a lot! Where are you getting the dually bed-sides?
