  1. Thanks for all the kind words guys , it was a long fun build I want to do a smaller landscaper version . have to see what kind of lawn mowers etc. are available, I know I've seen 'em.....
  2. If you dont have one you got to get one the extra rail on the side in the 1st pic is for the awning...........
  3. Were talking old 60s era promos . not warped , steel plate bottoms with friction motors,,,if somebody painted these can the paint be safely removed . I know it depends on what kind of paint was used determines what method of removal to use , lets say it looks like brush-on pactra or another 60s era brush on,,,,,,,,,,,,

  5. Thanks Bob . thats good for me to keep in mind on building something older , I should have stated I used it on newer kits , that H-1 I shot sublime green was with Dupli-color primer with Testors lacquer system colors..H-1 molded in red,,,,,,,,,
  6. So far I [knock on wood] never had bleed on red , purple or orange with Dupli-color non build up primer , only never tried it on yellow...
  7. Looks great Pat . I bought the Crusader , and the Shaker Trike , both so deep on the bottom of the pile of future builds I'll have to look at yours to see what one looks like , resetting the fork angle worked out great,,,,,

  18. John your right I'll make a bungie or two good eye....Rick the overhead hoist came with the kit most of the others came out of 'Fugimi garage tools ' kit #11032 and a couple simple scratch items cans, buckets etc.
  19. The weathering I use is water clean-up, Poly Scale , found in the Railroad section or Floquil Acrylic is good , I'm not an expert at this but try a little on an old build and practice...

  21. Now thats something tou dont see everyday , nice build , in my opinion "stock" is the hardest to do and builders are more of a finicky crowd and I mean that in a good way and their builds are always a pleasure to look at with the work that goes into them..

Need to put the last wall on but the back door was just cleared so I have to wait , again , its the 1 thing I forgot to do...lettering is vinyl die-cuts, to match the smaller name on the hummer , add a few more decals after the last wall is on , building a slammer to keep inside . now to find room to keep it .............. The overhead engine hoist also needs some rigging , but the inside is done
