  14. Rob lives in a little farm town in Illinois near Missouri and rents a house, the landlord seen he was a modeler and said somewhere he had some old kits , some of the ones he was givin were the AMT willys/'32 vicky combo kit sealed inside ...AURORA/ Dracula driving a coffin rod ...REVELL/'29 Ford pickup ,some ERTL tractor attachment kit all original releases plus the BIG DEUCE. The price tag is still on the Deuce it sold for $11.57 in 1963. There might have been a couple more but I had tunnel vision while I was holding this huge old kit........
  15. Now thats starting to shape into something the model community hasnt seen....talk about building outside the box, .....Wow
  16. To many ideas goin' at once , repainted this one so many times and almost got 'er done then just moved on then I thought it needed some white then maybe in black then take off all the trim and strip again repaint flat blue lets try the same thought with a Plymouth and then theres the tuner saga and so on and so on , I think it all boils down to the luxury of having way to many kits and its easy to put it aside to start another rather than owning a few kits and having to get them done...
  17. A big thanks to Rob Rubinas [aka sot rodder on this forum] my friend and co-driver rec'd a bunch of rare kits yesterday when we came in from Texas , he spied me eye ballin' the "BIG DEUCE" at a hobby shop so he gave me the original issue complete and unbuilt...thanks again bud... The box top is a little rough , but its all there decals, lights, all Monogram ads and booklets
  18. Thanks Ray/Jairus I thought maybe the printer was part of the problem I'm upgrading that also getting rid of this Lexmark all in one . Those plates on that bucket look good Ray and the build is mighty fine also..........
  19. Just to photo reduce license plates and such ..
  20. Ok guys in your opinion whats a pretty good program to reduce objects to scale [ 24th and 25th] I dont mind spending the money but this is all I need the program to do . I dont need to modify photos or add words just reduce the size so its still readable. I looked at some products this morning from $50 to $350 and came home empty. Thought I'd ask what you use..........Thanks
  21. I like all the boards....just elected to make this my one and only by choice and my choice only. My hats off to the moderators and all members on this board and 3 cheers to Gregg & Jairus for such a cool place to share our hobby............
