Great job all around, big block is a nice touch.

Very nice. Looks to have stayed really clean all these years, looks like its been kept in a case.

One of these would look great under that upcoming garbage packer.

I never realized they had this. Looks like I missed out.

Very nice. Its got that used but not abused look.

Very nice. Definitely something different. I woulda never thought of building something like this.

Nice. Now it looks like a proper CF truck. I remember they used to have the grubbiest trucks on the road.

Too cool. Great use of a defective kit. I gotta try that sometime. All that's missing is some bullet holes🙂

Very nice. Looks factory fresh. That white stuff in background looks strange. Haven't seen that around these parts since April.

You might check a pet supply store for a small fish tank. I picked up a couple at a Petco. I think they were $14USD ea. You can put a few models in one. It could be turned upside down and put on shelf or make a lid of some sort. I am always trying to find a good solution for this situation also.

That's mad skills right there. A challenge is fun once in a while. Nice jewel out of that pile of junk.

Nice looking truck. Looks like it just come off the show room floor. That Rust-Oleum Cherry Red looks nice. After color sanding did you re-shoot it with the Cherry Red or just polish it? Great looking truck.
Thanks Bob. I put 2 light coats on then 1 "full wet coat" I just polished it out, paint was a bit thick already. To me, every paint job is an experiment.

Another Revell snap Raptor. This is a very nice kit. I finished it in early Nov. Just now getting around to posting it up here. Spray bombed with Rustoleum Cherry red, color sanded with 1500 and polished. My only gripe with this kit is that I wish it had decals instead of the thick shiny stickers. It's not perfect but I like how it came out. Thinking about getting another one and make it look like its been around the block and thru the woods several times. Thanks for lookin'.

Superb job all around. No one can say they didn't see that coming at them. It really stands out.

That turned out nice. There's just something about a big purple truck.

Too cool. I think of that old commercial back in the 70s where that old lady hollers Whoop de doo for my Subaru!! I believe it was from a Midas muffler commercial. Been a long time.

That looks nice. Real metal eject cylinder is nice touch. All that is missing is the trash stench and some 1/25 scale maggots to cover it with........

That turned out nice. The wrecker body looks like it would be tricky to get everything straight and square. I have one of these around here somewhere waiting its turn. I second the thought of getting some outdoor pics of it.

Welcome to the hobby. Looks like you are off to a good start. THE best tool for this hobby is the internet. I have learned tons just reading stuff on this site. One thing is to look in the Q&A forum on this site. Tons of info there and in the wip section. You will learn as you go what tools you need, the sky and your pocketbook is the limit. These guys are a pretty good bunch and are always willing to help. Don't be afraid to ask questions. You should start a workbench thread on your build so we can follow along. Good luck and most of all have fun.

Very nice. That continental kit looks good on it.

Nice. Great paint work, black is kind of a pain. That was a great chase scene. I really like how the Charger was able to grow new hubcaps when they fell off. Now to make one after the wreck/explosion😄

Just finished this up a week or so ago. My local Hobbytown started carrying Revell paint so gave it a shot....will have to try it a few more times to see if I like it or not. First impression is good. Good kit overall, just have to be so careful with all that chrome. I found that those blue nitrile gloves work well for not getting fingerprints/scratches on it. Trouble is with gloves you can't tell when you get a bit of glue on your finger. Box stock except for alcoas and a decal sheet from Model Truckin. I built that cabover Pete 6 or 7 years ago, figured since it's blue I'll just use it for a tractor. I think they make a good pair. Anyway, thanks for looking and comments/critiques welcome. Later, Doug.
