  1. Gee , thanks Mark. I really appreciate your critical eye looking for the little details, thanks for that. Your very kind words are really appreciated, makes the project this fully successful. Thanks for taking the time to have a look. Jeff
  2. These old trucks had style and grace, amazing design work from back in the day, unlike the ‘cookie cutter’ units of today. This is such a cool build. I can’t wait for the up dates. I’m in the front row for sure
  3. Yes # 10 & 11 is what I was referring to. Not really very well detailed nor sized to scale but yes those are the bits.
  4. I think it had Wedge brakes. Which the Western Star & Reo have. They are the small brake chambers that are on the backing plates. There is two on each backing plate according to the instructions. The Ford Louisville cement truck I used to drive had only one pot back in the day. Not the greatest set up for a heavy mixer. “S” cam brakes are much more efficient.
  5. Sweet ,,,, heavy haul? Custom show truck? Custom work truck? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
  6. Don’t worry. Just get better as feeling off centre is most uncomfortable.
  7. Thanks for that tip Mark. Never really noticed that mod before, makes a major difference. Great stuff !!
  8. Your craftsmanship is outstanding Steve ! You are nailing the details. Love your engineering and I have to keep reminding myself it’s 1/32 ! Top drawer stuff, Mate
  9. Gary’s right JM , the beat one so far. Looks a real hard worker ! Excellent
  10. VERY cool , J M !!!! I think the best one so far. An amazing parts count. Like the distributor, way more parts that one would think. This FLC turned out spectacularly. Excellent job. This one is a beauty. !!!
  11. Wow !! That is absolutely awesome …. The paint is beautiful and the pe work is really good. What a good looking Freightliner, everything ties in beautifully. I really like this and will have to refer to it when I do mine, super nice !!!
  12. This is coming along swimmingly , Sam. The chrome louvers tie in nicely, with the wheels, bumper and luberfiner. Both sides are ‘even’ makes it clean and balanced. Looks great.
  13. Oh , I’m all over this build, this is going to be really good ! I am pulling up a front row seat ! Can’t wait till you get going on this one, Scott. Looking forward to your updates.
  14. This is so cool.... the service box looks great !!! I LOVE the worn looking license plate on the front bumper and a Cat Power decal for the front flaps would be super cool.... this is the best one so far..... awesome vision !!! really looks the part,,,,
  15. The Pad lock Is such a cool addition !!!! LOVE that...
  16. I hear ya on the air filter but it is accurate for an old school square style air filter of the eta depicted, and of course you can upgrade to a ‘round’ one or , you could chrome the louvered outside face that would be accurate and give it the continued custom look. Not much but I’ve seen them chromed on real trucks and they look pretty good. Just a random thought if you can’t come up with something you like better. Keep going. .. Jeff
  17. Just wondering if you have a trailer in mind to possibly hook behind this rig? Like a custom one to match? At first I wasn’t sure about the colors but looking at it more than once it does have great potential for a super custom owner operator unit. You got the lines for the color separation absolutely perfect. I’m curious as to the rest of your vision. Looking forward to the next update
  18. I agree with Gary. This is one of your top builds. Also very unique. So as far as your hood is concerned, if it’s a little bit out of whack that is well ok as a lot of real hoods after time don’t fit all that well. The hinges get weak on the heavier hoods over time and the frame twists and flexes. Most of the old trucks I drove, the hoods weren’t anywhere near perfect fit. I’d say you nailed the look, this is a really good build.
  19. That is gorgeous !! Can’t wait to see it hooked to the W900! I love the vision.
  20. This is really cool, I’d be proud to drive a unit that matches front to back. Lookin great, bud. I really like this heavy haul stuff. This will be a great addition to the fleet !
  21. I’m liking this more and more.
  22. This stage is always a nervous time. For me anyway. This is just so perfect I don’t foresee any issues ……. This is really getting exciting now.
  23. Boy. This one is sure looking good, I love the bumper you’re making as well. Adjusting the hood hinges may be the easiest way to go for the hood rather than pull everything apart. I will be taking notes how you do this operation for future reference for my adjustments. I’m sure I will learn something … keep going bud, she is a beauty.
