I want to do a period 'correct' super stocker, if raced in 68-69, and generally acceptable to NHRA rules. I'm toying with the idea of the 68 charger. So, what stayed in, and what was taken out. Again in 1968-69. I'm not concerned with today's rules: back seat, I think they had to be left in the car. Note sure. ??? Roll bar: I don't think they were required, nor did most cars have them. Heater, radio: removed. Windshield wipers: removed. Rear mirrors, interior and exterior: removed. Sun visors: removed. Center floor console: removed. Floor carpetinig: removed. What else am I missing? or where am I incorrect?, thanks in advance for your replies.

I've got Ed's Willys 41 pickup and it's as good as a Revell molding. Puts the other Willys truck resin bodies to shame (I bought the others as well)

There are several bodies by Comp resin, reliable resin and speed city, which is best?. Which donor? Could the new tool revell Hawaiian kit be the donor?

Trying heating the sprue over a single candle. You may be able to use stretched sprue. It takes practice, but can be done. I've used the sprue gates and stretched them for distributor wires.

Mark, you are correct, one side of the tire lip is twisted, and out of line. Luckily the other is OK, and I'll use this side for the outer wheel. Even when I glue both inner/outer wheels together the fit is not great. I may add a styrene strip between the 2 wheels, or add a strip on the outer edge of the glued wheels. Should be correctable. Using Amt's 68 hemi RR plymouth kit, an awesome kit, I want to build straight out of the box. Problem is it's difficult to properly seat the inner and outer wheels in the hollow tires. Anyone ever fill the void (open space)? Maybe that foam stuff you get at Home depot, ha ha! Seriously, maybe thin evergreen strips wide enough to fit from the back to front tire lip? Thanks in advance.
