  3. Brad, is that the excellent Ed Fluck cab body ? Chassis from what kit? pick up bed is from AMT ? I am making the Fluck body with Revell Maz chassis, but having some difficulty fitting the bed- I've got a generic resin copy of the AMT bed I think. Thx.
  4. PRETTY PLEASE MR MOEBIUS, re- do these 68-70 B body cars in the near future.
  5. STUNNING !!!
  6. I've heard people say you can spray (rattle can) Tamiya lacquer acrylics (color coat) directly on a plastic body, no primer. Also that it helps to polish the body as well- rubbing compound ? or sanding cloth to what grit (6000, 8000, 12000)? Any experience ?? Thanks in advance.
  7. AHH!!!, the DEATHPROOF Charger well it's not a 70 in the movie, but this kit looks like it.
  8. I've got some good Cobra Colors clear gloss left over......should work well with primer white. THANKS
  9. thanks, I'm doing the 65 Belvedere I, in all white, similar to the Bob Mosher cars (MoparsbyMosher.com)
  10. OK, I'm doing an all white car, and wondering why not just use Tamiya white primer (fine), sand as needed, and then spray clear gloss over the primer. The clear gloss will not attack the primer. Interested in the pluses and minuses of this... before I actually do it... Thanks.
  11. just got mine in mail. The chrome sprue is warped but doesn't look like any of the parts are warped. I noticed the body and tires are not enclosed in plastic wrapping, all other parts are. The body is VERY, very, very glossy and smooth, beautiful. My only question is does paint take to this super smooth plastic ??? Of course I will be light sanding and removing any seams (not many at all). So hopefully it will take to Tamiya type gray primer.
  12. 39-40 ish Lincoln Zephyr, 68-70 super bees, roadrunners etc- the Mono and AMT stuff just doesn't rate with the latest from Moebius (hope someone from Moebius sees this). late 40's Cadillac sedanette.
  13. appreciate the input, I thought the PL body was a bit too straight, but I'll build as is. THANKS
  14. I've got the gas ronda version and was comparing the box cover picture of the real car to the model body, and the model body just does not seem to have enough curve on the hood, roof and rear deck. Anyone notice this ? Is the Comp resins 69 Mickey Thompson Mustang FC more realistic ?? Thanks !
  15. awesome, what did you get the front end suspension ?
  16. when will the A990 super stock drag racer be out ???
  17. I'll have to hammer out the sheet metal to make it fit LOL!!
  18. Picked this up at mosquitocon and was impressed by the dropped axle and spoke wheels for the drag version. Has anyone built it? Any fit issues? I want to do the gasser/drag version. Thanks.
