  1. Hello, friends of model building... Today I want to show you my latest work, it's a Toyota Hilux from Aoshima in 1:24. There were four sprues with chrome parts, but that was too much of a good thing for me. So the chrome was removed and the chassis repainted. Look for yourself what has become of it. If you like the Hilux, spread the word; if not, tell me.
  2. Many thanks to you guys... I like it when you like it!!! ?
  3. Hello mates, after a longer break here is a new model from me. It is the Porsche 918 Spyder. Building was fun as always. The only bad thing was that the decals were torn when sealed. So I had to strip and repaint. At Revell I organized a new decal set. Like the first time, I got the new decals on well. It was a real challenge! This time I made the sealing with matt varnish a little more careful. And it worked as you can see. If you like the Porsche, pass it on. If not, tell me.
  4. Really a great Modell!!! Like it very much!!! ...and superbly presented. Really great diorama! Wunderbar!?

  7. Wonderful model! Great implemented! Reminds me of my '33 Cadillac Phaeton from Italeri, also shown here. These kits are not always the easiest. Respect!
  8. Oh man! When I see your models here, like this Corvette, I seriously doubt my skills! A really well built model! Excellent paint job. Just great!

    RUST.

Well, I always admire the colleagues who can build such great old and scruffy models! I guess these skills passed me by? Maybe that's why I only build new and top restored cars? I take my hat off to those skills!
  10. A nice car, a beautiful build and a fantastic presentation! Hats off!!!
  11. Wonderfull work! I always admire the variety of models you guys have in the States! The selection of model kits here is not exactly lavish. If you want something special, you have to import it! Keep on modelling!
  12. Well, that's a start!!! Great Job!
  13. I'll say thank you very nicely!! ?
  14. I would also like to thank you very much.

  17. Hello again! Finally it is ready, the Bburago 300SL ... Many thanks to my namesake Uwe (a friend) for this great model! Merci !!! The construction went almost smoothly (... only a few parts) even if the plan and the decals were missing. But the max nothing, I made it anyway! The body was originally painted cream white, but I didn't like it that much. After a "Dowanol" bath that was done. Now it is anthracite metallic. It was painted with Multona 0813. Newly primed and then three light coats of paint. Then varnished three more times. Now I like it ... Unfortunately, the wheels have no caps (lock nuts), they were missing. I also had to take the front indicators out of the grabber box. The speedometer was left over from the Büssing and fitted exactly on the dashboard. The interior was designed in sand color. Goes well with it, I think. Slobbered enough. ... Here are the pictures:
  18. Klasse gemacht! Super Präsentation! Well done! Nice presentation!
  19. Great model! Very well done! The presentation is great too!
  20. Thanks mates for this nice comments. Gives me a good feeling! Merci!
  21. Hi Monty ... This is purple metallic (dark lilac) from the spray can. I only paint with rattle cans. My wife found this shade and I liked it. That’s something completely different. Best regards, Uwe.
  22. Hey, modelling friends... First, many thanks for your nice comments... Makes me glad... All the problems were that nothing was straight. Almost all parts were bent or twisted. Here we worked with hot water and a hairdryer to get the parts halfway straight again. All parts were still under tension and it was really annoying to build. Actually, I've never had such severe problems before. (... and I've been building for a few years!). So, now you also know why I am totally annoyed by this model. ? Greetings from across the ocean, Uwe.
  23. Thanks, mates! I like it when you'll like it!!!
