  1. This morning my goal was to get the hole cut in the hood and putty up the hole where the emblem went. I also wanted to get the base coat of Silver Leaf on the body and last but not least get a rolling chassis.

  20. Finally I got the rear end all set and glued in place. I think the ride height is just about where I wanted it. While putting the shocks on one of the front shocks slipped out of the tweezers and is lost in cyber space. I got a replacement from the junk yard and it's already in paint.
  21. Thanks man. It's done.
  22. Thanks Kyle. I'm trying to get the rear end all glued in place this morning but it's wanting to fight back a little.
  23. No Sir. What you see is how it will be.
  24. Guys, I pulled this one back out and drug it across the finish line so I'm calling it done. WIP: https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/195735-1957-ford-del-rio-ranch-wagon/
  25. I decided to go ahead and pulled this one back out and finish it even though I didn't like the ride height of the front wheels. I was going to give it a two tone paint job but just didn't like how the masking was going so I aborted that idea quickly. I ended up painted it a Tamiya TS-38 Gun Metal and there is no clear over this paint. All of the bright work was re-chromed using the chrome from a Molotow pen and shooting it through my airbrush. The interior was painted the same as the body and the seat trim was painted silver. This build is pretty much box stock except I did wire the engine.
