  1. i wouldn't mind getting my hands on it. but i think it's also to nice for what i would do to it. id prefer to start with something a little more mostly complete junk. but the reality is, im a cheapskate that already has a project car (and technically one on the back burner that i haven't started on yet) and don't have anywhere to park another one. on the other hand, if it were a 58 Biscayne i could probably overlook the inconvenience and find a place to put it.
  2. you noticed a lot more about it than i did. it's in my neighborhood. but i didn't stop and read the for sale sign. and it wasn't out there this morning so idk... all i could think about was buying it, putting astro supremes on it and bagging it. ...and maybe adding some pearl white ghost flames... then i had the realization that it was to nice for me to that to and i therefore probably couldn't afford it.
  3. had the phone ready today. the Biscayne and Corvair both had for sale signs in them (corvairs been for sale for a while now) and the Porsche was a targa.
  4. i saw a really clean 62 impala and a 67 impala restomod. and about 300 air cooled volkswagens. but those may not count cause it was at a vw show...
  5. i was actually stoked about the Lancia. that's Toprank Imports. i drive past there on my way home from work sometimes just to see what's out there. seen so many Skylines and Supras out there iv become jaded. i mean, when you've seen this, it takes something really out of the ordinary to amuse you
  6. was shocked and stoked to see this. actually stopped to take this pic. really wish my windshield was clean... had never seen one before. may never see one again.
  7. on my way to work i saw a 56 Chevy. on my way home from work i saw a, not sure if it was an FRS, BRZ, or GT86, but it was orange with tiger stripes.
  8. R32 GTR being shipped out. do to sighting location im assuming it had just left Top Rank Imports and was heading for the 605 freeway. had enough time to ready my phone for this one (i was stuck next to it at a red light)
  9. Buick GNX. and being driven in the rain no less. and a pretty decent looking 63 impala. yesterday i saw a 49 chevy pick up and a 57 chevy. oddly enough both were black with white tops.
  10. leaving work i saw a rather nice looking silver and red 56 Chevy resto mod today. as i was attempting to chase it down (which i failed at because some idiot in a BMW SUV was going 10mph under the speed limit in the left lane) a green 69 or 70 Charger was going the opposite direction. well the Charger must have seen the Chevy cause he hammered it and made a pull as he passed and i don't think he has mufflers on that thing. but iv seen and heard the Charger making pulls near the intersection by my work before.
  11. not exactly sure but i saw some kind of Austin panel truck. after googling around i can't find the exact model but it's about a 1950.
  12. i saw this giant wing with a bug eye Subaru attached to it
  13. yeah, she was hot back in the day.
  14. these are actually form yesterday. C1 Vette and a neat looking mini truck
  15. ok, maybe not on the road. but this buzzed my house on its way to land at the Long Beach Airport maybe a hour ago. im no plane expert but i think its a C-47 (?) but i could easily be wrong. i should have run in the house and grabbed my camera instead of just using my phone.
  16. i find that car in a parking lot of that condition to be unsettling. like someone asked how many body's can you fit in the trunk of a 63 Imperial and someone said i have one lets find out. news at 10.
  17. wow. meats, zoomies, centerlines, a roll cage. id drive the snot out of that!
  18. it wasn't just today, i see this thing almost daily as the owner lives a few doors down from me, but i was finally able to get a decent pic of it. but he's got an itasha thing going on with his subaru
  19. i never noticed the license plate so unfortunately no.
  20. what part of So Cal are you in? cause probably 20 years ago (maybe more) i used to see one of those in Long Beach. always in the Los Coyotes Diagonal/Bellflower Blvd/405 area. the only time i can remember seeing the driver it was a women in maybe her late 50's ealy 60's, so it's not unreasonable to think she might still be alive and in an assisted living facility now. wondering if it could be the same car
  21. this was last week, but 69 El Camino
  22. 90's Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon with the fake wood grain. not particularly cool but i couldn't tell you you the last time i saw one and who can't appreciate a giant wood grain laden wagon?
