  1. in my search for "obscure" 90's alternative rock picked up the Nymphs self titled CD and have been listening to that. i dig it, it's pretty good!
  2. that's a flashback to high school ? it's right up there with Closing Time by Semisonic and Butterfly by Crazy Town. those songs were inescapable in 1998. (not a complaint)
  3. saw a huge wing with a Miata bolted to it
  4. and to think, the front man is also the founder of Singer Vehicle Design, who's responsible for possibly the nicest 911 restorations/modifications in the world. been bumpin' Catherine Wheel sense i heard Black Metallic in the early 90's. very underrated band.
  5. that reminds me of a car featured in Super Chevy Magazine back in like 93/94. ?
  6. the Explorer Sport Trac was a flop, i seriously wonder why they tried it again. i saw this yesterday. its ether a 350 or 370 Z with a color changing ugly green wrap
  7. was that assembled with a hot glue gun?
  8. was not aware the Edsel had sub models.
  9. the ranger actually started as a trim level on F100's and later became a compact truck. and now it's a "midsize" and anyone with more than 2 brain cells to rub together looking for a midsize truck buys a Tacoma. the ranger has been it's own thing longer than it was trim package so it's whatever at this point. the explorer i think was just a trim level on an F100 and never gained traction as there own entity. no real loss. wasn't the Ramcharger just a 426 wedge engine option? and didn't it only last a few years? slapping a defunct name on an off road capable SUV that was more workhorse than your wifes luxury SUV is kinda here nor there. at least they put the name on something cool. the charger having 4 doors is something i was vocal about my displeasure of at the time. to this day i still refer to them as magnum sedans. sense they really are just magnum wagons with a shortened roofline. JDM challenger yeap. do to politics and world events the muscle car was dead, sports cars were junk, and most people ether wonder what the heck were they thinking, or are embarrassed by it. it was a dumb move on Chryslers part. the Sierra (at least under Chevy, didn't know ford used it) was just a trim level. one could argue the current GMC is just a high end Chevy and therefor still is a trim level. at least the name is still on a truck. the lightning is another thing im royally infuriated about. the original lightning was a factory sport truck, a mustang in a truck package. to slap it on a generic f150 because its electric is lazy and disrespectful to the brand.
  10. yes it does dilute the name. it looses the exclusivity factor and with high end brands, that matters. a lot. as for the mustang 2. at least that pinto based junker was a 2 door rear wheel drive coupe. true to form at least.
  11. ? Blink 182 - I Won't Be Home For Xmas Greenbrier Lane - Christmas Time In The 909 The Shout - Mullet Christmas Less Than Jake - Im Getting Nothing For Christmas The Dan Band - Rock You Hard This Christmas Cory Taylor - X-M@$
  12. been listening to Heatmiser's Dead Air album today (actually have the CD). if you're into obscure early 90's alternative rock, or maybe more accurately early 90's college rock radio, it's pretty good. track 6, Blackout, is particularly good.
  13. parked next to this while running errands after work today. one of the strangest things iv ever seen, this old dude, had to be well into his 70's and showing it, was driving it. he got out, walked away, grabbed a shopping cart in the parking lot and headed in the direction of the grocery store. i was heading elsewhere. as i was walking back to my truck probably 10 minutes later i could hear and smell that he left it there running while he went shopping! im thinking, dude come on. if you're not going to take better care of it, sell it to me

  15. orange C8 Vette. ...at a body shop... although it was ether on its way out or was just visiting, didn't see any damage.
  16. 2004 - 2006 Ford GT. it was red. first time i think iv ever seen one.
  17. saw a, not sure if it was a 58 or 59 Chevy pickup this morning.
  18. i unfortunately don't have any "before" pic's. but this was a quick clean up i did last year. it went from 2 bad paint jobs, one over the other, and i think the first one was done with a brush, a slight over use of glue, a poorly made intake manifold, some miss aligned front end pieces, and a missing scoop, to this. i stripped it down bare and started over. ...probably should have replaced the tires...
  19. saw this on my way to work this morning
  20. peoples inability to suitably operate a motor vehicle was particularly infuriating today. as well as there inability to navigate.
  21. 55 Chevy, very clean. dark silver and red. didn't care for his selection of big chrome wheels but to each his own i guess.
  22. saw a new bronco sport. it was blue. VERY underwhelming. total soccer mom vehicle, and not so oddly enough, there was a women, about age 40, driving.
  23. huh, so that's what they're called. yes, that's what i saw.
