  1. i find that car in a parking lot of that condition to be unsettling. like someone asked how many body's can you fit in the trunk of a 63 Imperial and someone said i have one lets find out. news at 10.
  2. wow. meats, zoomies, centerlines, a roll cage. id drive the snot out of that!
  3. it wasn't just today, i see this thing almost daily as the owner lives a few doors down from me, but i was finally able to get a decent pic of it. but he's got an itasha thing going on with his subaru
  4. i never noticed the license plate so unfortunately no.
  5. what part of So Cal are you in? cause probably 20 years ago (maybe more) i used to see one of those in Long Beach. always in the Los Coyotes Diagonal/Bellflower Blvd/405 area. the only time i can remember seeing the driver it was a women in maybe her late 50's ealy 60's, so it's not unreasonable to think she might still be alive and in an assisted living facility now. wondering if it could be the same car
  6. this was last week, but 69 El Camino
  7. 90's Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon with the fake wood grain. not particularly cool but i couldn't tell you you the last time i saw one and who can't appreciate a giant wood grain laden wagon?
  8. McLaren 570 in a nice shade of cheder cheese yellowish orange
  9. im actually looking at the tow hitch ?
  10. iv had quite the car spotting the last couple days. yesterday was a (based off the personalized license plate) 73 International pick up (it was nice to!). then today, a 56 Chevy wagon, 69 Mustang coupe, Shelby Cobra kit car, and not sure of the exact year, late 80's (?) Porsche 911 targa
  11. saw an interesting wrap. there was a granite counter top company name on the bottom of the doors.
  12. chassed this down on my way home from work
  13. iv seen it. it caused me to on a car movie downloading spree several years ago. got Hot Rod, Hot Rod Rumble, King of the Mountain, a movie id never heard of called "Red Line" staring Chad McQueen, the original Gone in 60 Seconds, The California Kid, a cheesy late 90's made for TV semi "remake" (i use that term loosely) of The Love Bug. Funny Car Summer, Fabulous Floppers, and some late 50's drag racing film called Ingenuity in Action. anyway there's also this movie called Hot Rod
  14. they did break 200mph with it, but don't remember when, or what the exact speed was...
  15. i remember seeing pic's of the car torn apart after the fire. looked salvageable (it is a race car after all, and re-pop 69 Camaro sheet metal is easily acquired). that's one reason iv been wondering. if it were an axe, would it be on its second head and third handle? or is there some actual made by GM in 69 stuff still there?
  16. iv often wondered, with as long as that cars been around, and all the stuff its done. how much of the original Camaro is still there?
  17. terrible pic. but how about a lefthand drive mini cooper
  18. the pic doesn't do it justice. but a pink Miata.
  19. so that's what that is! i saw one of those last week. had no idea. didn't recognize the logo and the name was nowhere on it.
  20. for those of you into the "Seattle sound"
  21. recently my city has decided it was a good idea to take out a lane on a rater busy street and make it a bike lane. it went from 3 lanes each direction down to 2. which do to location (directly off a freeway offramp that's right by a park entrance with a bus stop right behind it) has completely cluster-screwed traffic on that street. but don't worry, that bike lane will go largely neglected and unused by cyclists. don't ya just love it when your government uses your tax dollars for no good reason in a way that inconvenience you? and now they're are signs up on the next main street north of there, so im wondering if they're doing the same thing over there. which will be fun cause if that's the case there will only be on lane in each direction. and there is already about a 6 foot wide bike lane on each side of that street. i need to move.
  22. i left work at 1 and went a cruised PCH down well into the OC. saw more C8 Corvettes, Porsches 911, and for some reason Aston Martins than i could shake a stick at. also 2 Audi R8's and 2 Lamborghini Huracans, , and thanks to traffic i was only able to get a pic of this. a Meyers Tow'd. not complaining, this is the first time iv ever seen one in the wild.
