  1. The body detail isn't bad putting aside the out of scale problems. I've got extra 283s lying around to replace the blob in this kit, but being what it is, I think I will just glue the hood shut, build it with custom parts and try to give it some dignity. I plan to do the 62 too! I've got the Revell 58 unbuilt, but I plan to fart around with these "not so great" kits just for fun. That MPC 60 corvette seems like a worthy build too.
  2. Great work. Love that interior.
  3. I bought this off ebay and just noticed something out of whack. It appears Amt built this with the headlight bezels upside down.
  4. Fantastic job
  5. gorgeous car
  6. It seemed to be going along nice. Did you finish it?
  7. Thanks for the comments. It was a challenging project finding information and dealing with typical AMT fit issues (twisted frame, and filing half a pound of styrene off the firewall and inner front fenders to get the body to sit right) I think it came out pretty good.
  8. This set up utilized the dual spark delco-remy distributor to take advantage of a dual coil ignition. The Fisher crossflow head had only one plug per cylinder so they adapted the ignition by staggering the plug wires. After researching the subject, this is my take on it. Feel free to add information as I found it hard to find.
