Anyone know if they are planning on another release of the 60 Impala soon?

Gorgeous car. Are those sealed beams turned 90 degrees? -
Put it in a concrete vault for 50 years and have em dig it up as a time capsule!

People put this one down for various reasons, but you pulled it straight to the top! Outstanding work. I can't stop looking at it.

What Lincoln kit did the V12 come from?

That car has a lot of WOW

You did a great job on this. I still cant understand how AMT screwed up the headlight bezels on the 55 Nomad but got this one right.

What do you do when you have a worn out Model A and your father's wrecked 37 Chevy? Pull the stovebolt out of the Chevy and shoehorn it into the Ford of course! At least that's what Johnny Wholeschott did back in '47 . All he had was a Lincoln welder, a pile of rusty scrap metal, and a JC Whitney catalog, so he went to work. Little did he know that when he decided to do his first channel job, he created a whole lot of extra work for himself getting that mill to fit. The idea was to keep the stock hood length, so he had to drop the radiator support which raised the front end. But he thought it looked pretty cool and that old thing sounded like a B-29 whizzing through the dirt roads of West Virginia. And wouldn't you know it's been sitting in the family barn all these years.

Modifying the original steering linkage and stabilizer to fit the raised axle. Cutting the firewall to accept the stovebolt.

Major update! A lot of work has been done and the project is nearing completion. Here's some pictures. Fabricating fenders from the originals.

Thank you for your service.

Making progress. Engine has been fitted and floor roughed in. Dropped the radiater mount which raised the front end, but leveled the hood. Superglued a toothpick across the frame as a temperary cross brace. I think I will leave that stovebolt high in the air. The radiater is falling over in the picture. Got the lower pan welded in. May mount the frame on stock 37 chevy wheels if I can find a fourth tire.

Thats a beautiful car ... I mean model ... I mean car ... I mean model ...

This will be an attempt to power a 29 Model A with a 37 Chevy six in the stock frame. I've already shortened the driveshaft, channeled the body, cut the master cylinders off the firewall to be relocated, and fabricated moter mounts, so there's no turning back now. I may drop the front axle, but maybe not. Channeling added a major packaging headache, which I failed to foresee. But I will press on.
