This kit was very fun to build as original. I had 2 very difficult problems 1, the glass on the back and sides do not want to fit. My back was a tad warped. I recently found gorilla clear glue which i think would have made it much easier 2, front grill has no mount points to glue. There is not really a great way to do it without getting glue on the body. I spent a long time on this and finally got it with just a half drop of glue and a hope i didnt bump it. I think when this one comes out againt i will build something into the inside of fenders like a strip that can give a bit more room for glue Other than that, this was a ton of fun to build and be glad when i can get 2 or 3 of these for the price i paid for 1

I did a bunch of cutting on the chassis and got it as close to perfect as I can. There is a small lip on the chassis frame where the engine sits that looks like it was too thick. cutting that a bit to make it wider made it fit. I also needed to trim away a bit for the belt. I dont know if i have it wrong, i guess i will see. Im still very curious if this is how it is on this kit. Just dont see how that is correct

The led headlights are expensive to replace too. If i remember correctly it was like 300 on my old vw gti about 10 yrs ago

People are generally too selfish and self centered. I blame social media for making people believe they are more important than they actually are Also, people seem to get stuck in the "high school" mentality because of it too. They dont seem to mature past it anymore

Doesn't irk me as much as shocks me that people are so dumb and self absorbed. leaving hobby lobby there were 3 different people, not together, walking in the middle of the street in the parkin lot so you can only drive as fast as they can walk Pick a side

This is the revell gmc kit that im going go put the chevy grill in it. Other than that its stock. I will most likely put the plow on it, but i haven't 100% decided. This is a kit i have been working off and on for too long. Im at the home stretch now. I have the body on the jacked up chassis in the picture but only so i can paint it cleanly. Im using metallic paint, so i want to make sure it will match. The body will be the 2 tone paint. The middle is painted a tamiya racing white, which is closer to cream, and the rest will be a lime green type color. I already put down the white, and tomorrow i will clear it to make sure there is no leak.

History of Monogram's Squarebody GM Pickups

i had that nice blazer kit a while back that i bought second hand. it was very nice, but there was something wrong with it and i was trying to putty it and sand it to get it smooth and it cracked in my hand. the plastic was so brittle. i dont know if someone put it in a brake fluid bath to cleanup bad paint before selling or it was just so old, but that plastic was brittle like i had never seen before. i tossed it because i was so disappointed that i broke it. i remember it being pretty expensive too -
I was once sitting at a stop sign to leave a restaurant. there was so much traffic that i couldn't go for a few minutes. Finally sone lady that was behind me pulled next to me blocking the entrance and said you have to just go and make them stop for you. She immediately went and nearly had 2 cars side swipe her and they both blasted the horn. Since she did that. It freed up space for me to go safely. I Never wish for people to crash, but that was one time i wish it happened

My apartment complex has been needing to randomly shut off the water while they work on a new apartment. however they typically leave us a letter telling us so with usually a couple of hours notice. Today however, no notice. Im in the middle of a shower when the water goes off

Can i use testors enamel paint over tamiya primer

Thank you. For the testors enamel bottle paint, is it 2 parts thinner and 1 part paint or 50/50 mix. I haven't airbrush before where i need to thin the paint myself -
my beetle recommends 10,000 miles or 1 year for an oil change. from the previous time i had it changed to the 1 year mark, i had driven about 2000 miles or 2500 miles. I called VW and asked them if i should bother and of course they said yes because it had hit the 1 year mark, so i got it changed. it was like 80 dollars. now my wife has taken over the beetle since i never use it and it had only 12000 miles on it in 2.5 years of owning it, and her car had almost 90000 miles and was falling apart. we figured it was better to have her use the beetle than to keep putting money into her car. since i work from home, i only use the car to pick up groceries or run to burger king, so i have become the old used car salesman pitch, just used to go to the store and back. although it was tempting when i checked the carvana site a few months ago and they offered me 3000 more than i paid for the car brand new. my wife didnt want me to trade it in, she said we need 2 cars i did have to fill up my vespa for the first time. 1.2 gallons of gas and i drive 115 miles.

my wife got me a really nice paint brush set as a gift this year, but im a bit concerned the brush might get destroyed with what paint i use. the brushes are kolinsky sable. i use tamiya, model master metallizer, vallejo and ak interactive. i also just ordered a set of the ak interactive metal xtreme paints, but they havent arrived yet i typically use brush painting for the metal stuff like exhaust, or manifolds, transmission, etc. are kolinsky sable brushes safe to use with these brands of paint? i dont want to destroy them, but i really would like to use them for my car models, since this is what i typically build. in the past all of my brushes were like 1 dollar each i tried google and it said kolinsky sable are good for oil paints and water paints, but i dont know what that means for acrylic vs enamel vs laquer, is it the same thing?

Got cheeseburgers for dinner tomight from local restaurant. Now im sick as a dog. Unrelated, maybe, but im guessing its not a coincidence Also the wotker at the restaurant worked like he was in slow motion. He was as slow as a sloth. I have never seen anything like it. I could see his coworker was getting annoyed because she started taking over stuff he was doing
