i seemed to have lost my model building motivation lately. i built a few kits back to back and then i had an issue with one. i tried to rebuild it again and it didnt work out again because of bad fitment, and after that i couldnt get it going again. i tried to build a new kit, that i know goes together well and got halfway through it and i put it back in the box. i just havent been able to do it. i even got as far as fully priming a kit of my very favorite rally car, and then looked at what was required for the paint, and the amount of taping needed for the different colors and put it back in the box. i want to build something, but once i pick up the kit and look at the pieces, i just cant bring myself to work on it. maybe i need to grab a snap kit or something

I honestly don't know. we live in apartment and the breaker for it wasn't even in our apartment. it was in a basement on the opposite side of the building. We have lived here for over 7 years with tge same dryer, so i assumed it was just a one time issue.

I have owned the scooter about 1 month now. Unfortunately for me, i hurt my neck and back and have only felt well enough to drive it once in 2 weeks. Im starting to feel relief and hoping its better so i can get out there before the bad weather. -
Our dryer was causing us to lose power in the whole apartment after about 10 mins of use. The electrician came and fixed it straight away. The breaker was melted a bit. They put a new one in and it seems good. Hopefully it isnt a real problem that caused it to melt other than it being old

not a movie, but an old tv show...twin peaks the first season and the first half of the second season was great. once they finished the main story, it was like they had not even a clue of what to do the second half of the season is the biggest bunch of junk i have ever seen. im only trying to finish in order to watch the movie and the 25 years later season. this is so horrible. nothing is happening at all in every episode

i used tamiya gray primer then silver paint over that. Then i was able to paint every color just fine. i read that some people say to prime again with white over the silver -
Watched queenpins on paramount plus. It was very good. Supposed to be a true story about 2 ladies that created a vast wealth on illegal coupons.

This is a bit long but very funny. I always say it was the time i died. In college I worked at a 24 hour gas station working a mix of days and overnight shifts. Including 24 hour shift 1 time per week. My sleep was so messed up and i could fall asleep in a moments notice any hour of the day During the night shift nobody would come in between 2:30 am to about 6:30am, but the owner was required to stay open because of the license agreement. So the owner didn't care if we slept. Anyway, one night i was so tired I liked up all the chairs like a bed and fell asleep. I locked the doors and shut down the pumps. Next thing i knew there was 5 police officers that jimmied the door open and came rushing in. I jumped up and they jumped back. The phone was ringing and it was the owner. He asked if everything is ok. I said yes. He said how many police cars are there, and i said probably 5. It turns out that a cabby came in and honked the horn but i didn't wake. He knocked on the door but i didn't wake either. he called 911 saying the gas attendant was dead. For days the police would cone in and joke with me about being dead.

Just got an email from our tv provider, YouTube TV. Nbc and its channels will be canceled unless NBC gives them the price YouTube TV wants to pay. On a positive, they will reduce the price by 10 dollars per month if this happens. They mention that peacock is 5 per month which gives the channel We have hulu so we can watch the 1 show on nbc we watch the next day. I hope they just get rid of nbc for good and keep the 10 dollar discount

The vespa is being delivered tonight. They asked me to go to the dealership last night to go over the features and functionality of the scooter. It looks nice. There was one small issue, the one blinker didn't work, but i was assured it would be fixed before delivery. Since i don't have an easy way to transport it, i will need to verify its functionality before they leave. So far the dealership has kept all of their promises, so i don't have any reason to think otherwise. I feel silly but i got a biker thick leather jacket and gloves to protect myself from a fall. I read online that it helps prevent road rash by 70% if a fall occurs. People online were saying its better to sweat than bleed. I also ordered a bright orange reflective vest since my helmet and jacket are black. That was my wifes requirement. Im sure i will have a fun time once it comes -

Thanks guys. I appreciate the nice words. I decided not to bother telling anyone else because I been hearing nothing but negative opinions/comments. its something I wanted, i can afford it, so i bought it. Im not asking for permission from these people. I told people I that i thought would be happy for me and i got nothing but grief. People asking what they cost, then commenting negatively on how much it costs...i heard someone say why not just get a motorcycle, and then commenting on how dangerous this is, all in the same breath. People saying why bother, you have a car, why get this too. I think i told 5 people (not counting here) and only my sister said congratulations, im glad you got it since i knew how much you wanted it. Everyone else can stuff it -

I found a video of the building of it. The 75 is a decal. I just dont know if its clear coated after. I think i am just going to keep it as stock though. Its a single year paint scheme so it would reduce the resale value when i sell it if i remove it. Im hoping to keep it for a long time, but i suspect when I get comfortable with it, i will want the bigger engine. I believe i made the right decision for now in getting the small engine for safety reasons, but in nj im limited to roads that have posted limit of 35. Even getting gas will be difficult and involve parking lot hopping to get to it...or going in my car with a gas can -

i had been looking at getting a vespa for a little while. i spoke with my wife about it and she didnt seem to care much if i got it. today we went to the vespa dealership and they had the exact one i wanted. its a primavera 75th anniversary edition. it has a limited edition color and a different seat and some 75th anniversary badges. honestly dont care for the special edition stuff, in fact, i would have preferred if it didnt have the 75th badge on it, but i absolutely love the color. its like a goldish green. i love it so much. its in their warehouse and needs to be built and they will deliver it to my house next week sometime. -

She was our shortest lasting employee. she asked me for help on something and i said ok, i just need 5 minutes. I walk over and she is on the internet shopping. I said im ready to help and she told me she wasn't ready for me and would come get me. I just walked away. I think she lasted 2 or 3 weeks total.

I had a former coworker once ask me how to fix a certain bug in her program. i said thats easy, just click this and hit that. Her response was i dont think thats right. I say ok, and i walk away. 8 hours later she comes back and says what was that again. i told her and its all fixer. 1 minute fix

my real name is mike and miles is my nickname that my brother in law accidentally gave me. when my wife and i first got married he texted my wife asking if Miles was coming to dinner. My wife responded with who is miles he swore it was an autocorrect error and that he did know my name was mike. its been 15 years now that i have been called miles by all of my in laws. i go by miles now. in fact, only my mother and sisters call me michael (or mike)
