Ain't that the truth. I've been blaming it on that old age thing that happens to us all. It's the cause for our tolerances to be lowered.

My lovely HOA reminded me with a letter that the front door trim to the house needs repainted and I had 15 days to comply. They had apparently sent a letter prior to that letter but I never received it. Nothing new since the mail carrier mixes up everyone's mail quite frequently. I called the manager and explained that I was away from the house for two years while caring 24/7 for my dad till he passed away and then another year afterwards to take care of his Estate and other BS that goes along with an individual dieing. I told her that I have my own list of areas needing my attention and that i've already replaced the roof and had our chimney's cement crown replaced. Next was to repaint and make repairs to our shed, but I guess the front doors wooden trim is now a priority. Then I asked about the 15 days. Is that 15 days from when they wrote the letter, 15 days from when they sent the letter or 15 days from when I received the letter? She told me that considering what I had been through and not being able to have the time due to the circumstances to take my time and let them know when their request was completed. Geez that was so nice of her. Anyway, I mentioned that I was going to repaint the garage door jams and replace the weather stripping around the door also, so it may take a little longer, but it will get done. Once again, I had her blessing. As of today, all the trim on both front door and garage has two coats of bonding primer and ready for the final two coats of the top coat paint. It was a bit ruff today since I've felt like I have a virus of some sorts for the last two days and haven't eaten or drank much in the past two days. I dang near passed out while installing the weather stripping around the garage door today. I'll still want to paint the screendoor and the front door even though it wasn't addressed in the letter. It's faded yellow and needs to be white like the trim in my opinion. Even though this all started out as an irk, I'll be happier and very pleased once this work is finally completed in the coming days, 🤔°° that is as long as this virus doesn't knock me down. I am still trying to be on the positive side of those pesky irks that haunt me.

I picked up some Evergreen styrene,Tamiya extra thin cement, Faller's super-expert plastic glue and an assortment of different grit sanding sticks at Hobbytown today. I also scored these two kits from ebay this week, cheap.
