  1. Old age? What's that..lol I'll be 65 going on 12.. πŸ˜‰
  2. The Equinox he took over is a 9 year old vehicle. The Trailblazer I got is a 20 year old vehicle. But I'm still tickled about getting it. Shucks, no car payments is a win in my book any day. I have a 1994 silverado short bed that's been sitting for an extended period of time that I need to get running again. As long as the Trailblazer holds up till the Silverado is up and running, I'll be happy.
  3. Earlier this week one of my brother-in-laws took possession of his mom's 2016 Equinox. I asked what was the plans for his 2005 Trailblazer? He said since it has 225,000 miles, the AC started to blow warm air and the frame is starting to rust out. He opted to junk it. His mechanic told him not to make any high dollar repairs to it because of the frame issue, that it would be a waste of money. I don’t see it as a big of issue as he does. IMO just about anything can be repaired. If not, I paid nothing for it. So whatever i put into it, I'm still ahead. I put in a can of freon and the AC is blowing cold air again. The interior has no tears, rips or stains. It really just needs a good washing and a waxing.
  4. I've been outside with the bowl of peanuts for the last half hour plus letting Chip have at it with self-service. While he's eating, I'm going through and breaking the opened ones and feeding them to him as he comes back. He started cracking into the peanuts, only taking out one of the shells and leaving the remainder behind. I believe he's caught on and is trying to keep me busy. 20250617_194927.mp4
  5. After doing some research I found that not only was this carriage offered by a perfume company but it is also used as a cake topper. I'm not sure if both are of the same qualities but they are similar in design and appearance. The only differences I can see per photos are the cake topper doesn't have glass but does have axles. I plan on buying one of the cake toppers just to compare.
  6. When you posted this particular info about evilbay, I took off running! I scored one that is gold plated plastic with no glitter, thankfully. I'll be gather up parts and contemplating construction on this for quite some time. Thanks for the directional info.
  7. While I was out and about I spotted this very nice '68 Impala cruise by.
  8. Hey Alan, I thought I had sent you a PM but it was late at night so I may have messed up. Anyhow, I have a sealed AMT Dick Tracy '36 ford kit if you're interested? I believe it's molded in black. Mike
  9. I have a clematis that mom planted many moons ago that's still surviving. It towers 12 feet but has a lot of dead shoots that need to be removed. The only problem is that a lot of the new has attached themselves to those old dead shoots. I'm afraid of thinning it out and possibly killing it.
