Yesterday's encounters.

It does have plenty of details and movable parts, such as posable steering, folding seats, opening doors, trunk and hood. Mine is molded in an ugly dark brown styrene. I kinda like what Steve Magnante did with this kit in his latest YouTube video, two hemis.

I forgot about this one until I was looking back through the post.

ball coming fast

This score was from an ebay auction that arrived a couple days ago. I was able to get it for a decent price, probably since it had some thick paint on its roof and hood. Nothing that can't be removed. It is complete but some of the decal sheet had been cut into and applied to the hood.

I'm no AC repairman by any means but the first thing I would check is your breakerbox to see if the circuit breaker tripped off. Could also he a breaker on the inside unit also. At least my unit does.

These showed up by mail a couple of days ago. I've been busy filling my show rod voids and spotted the '69 pro street GTX and said why not. It was on the make an offer option, so I did and got it for the price of the newer issue, open and complete as is the Groovy Grader which also was fairly priced.

Another positive pleasing. Although I'm not done yet due to a thunder storm. I started to pressure wash the concrete driveway that runs from the side of the house out to the double car garage. Man it was filthy! Last time it was done was approximately 5 years ago? Here is what is done so far. I have another 40+feet to go.

Another positive note, since I've taken possession of my late father's house and needing to move my model room and it's entirety into a room in the basement that I've deemed to become my new model room, which isn't happening fast enough for me. It’s more of needing to make room for my things and there is no extra space. So in lieu of this stalemate, in my bedroom there is a built-in wall to wall desk with two wall mounted bookshelves. This will become my temporary work space for building models again. The desk top had a 6' crack running through the middle of wood with the grain and needed to be repaired first. I repaired the crack and added wood underneath to scab the crack together making it solid again. I decided to add laminate to the top which in IMO is a great work surface and it's to easy to clean. I'll still use wood to make my cuts on. I still need to clean up the front edge of the desk top and apply a finish, then it will be ready to use. 🤔°° now what to build? I have two stalled projects that has been patiently waiting my return. A pro street vega and pro street hearse.

This morning while I was out I saw a possibly 30 some coupe, dark maroon paint, dark tinted glass, chopped and channeled, no hood with a blower motor heading in the opposite direction, couldn't snap a photo fast enough. However this very nice stang passed me by driven by an older lady.
