Hey, it works. I thought maybe it was something you had made out of clay and painted.

Looks really good, Dave. Our state's team are the Ravens, but I think I'd rather pay homage to our old team the Baltimore Colts. Thanks for sharing your cool build. I like the mascot, nice touch.

What Did You See In Your Yard Today?

You sound like me with my little critters. I have have a squirrel with a front leg that looks as if was caught in something. He was a bit gimpy for a while but is doing much better. The only suggestion I have for the fellow with the netting is to try to catch it in a live trap and use "heavy" gloves to hold him while carefully cutting the netting. I sure it wouldn't be an easy task and you could end up accidentally cutting his skin in the process. Some of my family members refer to me as Doctor doolittle.. I'm cool with that title. Good luck if you decide too. -

Lucky it didn't get to becone a full blown situation. I made my point verbally and the issue at hand did not continue. We see what tonight holds. Someone's memory seems to be either slipping or they just give a rats @$$. 🤔°° it actually could be a little of both. Our Dad did have dementia, and the saying is "The apple doesn't fall from the tree."

From ebay. I was offered a price reduction which made it impossible to pass up. Some glue clean up is needed and It has a few missing pieces that are replaceable. It was missing one rear tire and rim, which I have in my parts box, in fact I have all 4 rims for it that are mint. I already ordered new copies of the original decals that came with these kits from STS..

I have a pair of wrens that built a nest in a plastic basket that hangs on the wall directly over top where I sit to feed the squirrels and my buddy Chip the chipmunk. The wrens are territorial as heck. They dive bomb the squirrels and have attacked Chip while he's on my lap. First I put a rubber snake at the nest. The wrens weren't bothered one bit. They acted as if it wasn't even there. Next step was to move the basket containing the nest to a nearby shrub. Apparently it's not far enough away. Today I'll be moving them even farther away. I just couldn't bring myself to destroy the nest and killing the babies because of the parents actions. It is nature and I respect that. 20250517_104955.mp4
