  1. OMG is this true? Where was this advertised. The Snake Cuda is one of my grails. I don’t want to get my hopes up too much just yet in case it doesn’t happen.
  2. We’ve had the Royal Rail and the Li’l Gypsy Wagon… so just missing that one!
  3. I’d take a Stage Ghost too! No questions asked!
  4. Based on that price at Spotlight Hobbies one may well argue it’d be an absolute money spinner for Round 2?? - of course the market is a lot more nuanced than that! @Dave Van I love what you did there with those conversion parts! I’m sure with your talents you could convert a Depth Charger or Flameout. Whilst I acknowledge what people say about needing to recover the costs of the run etc etc it does seem to me there is a market. Like I said previously, it seems Round 2 have re-released almost all of the AMT showrods in the last 10 or so years. Just recently we had the Gypsy Wagon, which probably has a similar market appeal to the Koo-Koo-Kar. So what do you say @SteveG? Is this still a potential future release? I reckon @Dave Van and I would buy at least 0.5% of a run between us.
  5. Was perusing the contents of my Round 2 AMT ‘55 Corvette and stumbled upon the ‘09/‘10 Round 2 catalogue. In it they list AMT727 Koo-Koo-Kar as ‘coming soon’ but alas it would seem it never came. Whilst not to everyone’s taste, for us fans of AMT’s Corvair-powered show rods this would be heaven-sent. I can’t imagine it would sell any better or worse than AMT’s other show rod offerings, which have been re-released pretty regularly over the past 10 or so years. So the question is: would it be ‘cuckoo’ to continue waiting, or should I just accept the need to sacrifice an organ should I ever wish to own one?
  6. Same here
  7. Ooh wouldn’t that be grand? I’d also be happy with the 1/12 Super Digger! Or better yet… both
  8. We are getting the 1/32 Monogram Funny Cars from Atlantis… could it be more 1/32? The Hemi Fiat perhaps? Or the Boss Willys? Or maybe the sacred grail that is the Ford Screamer? Oh a boy can dream…
  9. That is looking so, so sweet!!!! I can’t wait to see this one finished!
  10. Hi Zippi great job thus far... I quite like this kit and always thought it had good ‘bones’ upon which one might improve it... and Lo and behold you are doing just that! I am building this exact kit right now (albeit the coupe) and did what you did with the fenders... now the trick I found was to look closely at the hinging part that installs to the hood... you’ll notice some evidence of ‘extra material being added’ / ‘material being removed from the tool’ which I suspect was added after first-offs to push the hood ‘forward’ and clear the scoop... it’s 2 tabs about 1/16” thick. What I did was remove this extra material, and slightly open the hood hole and ‘voila’ it suddenly all started to fit. I still haven’t finished it but it’s getting there
  11. Hi all, a bit late to the party and perhaps someone has already pointed this out but... I knew I’d seen this box art before...
  12. My first post to this forum. I just had to say how delighted I am to see this car so perfectly executed. Great subject matter and terrific execution! I hope to build one of these, and if I come to within 20% of your quality I will be pleased. Well done Brad. Best regards, Brad
