  1. Just finished up tonight. This one was problem after problem. But, it's done and I'm glad about that big time! Here's the mod list in no order: 12.7 Detroit series 60 engine swap, fully functional cab doors and sleeper door, detailed interiors, clutch pedal added and modified shifter. 3d printed rims, exhaust tips, mudflap hangers, hood ornament, sleeper panels, cb radio. Amt fuel tanks and 5th wheel assembly. Plus some other little odds and ends. Enjoy!
  2. Thank you everyone! It's definitely one of my favorites as of now I think!!
  3. Also wrapped this one up at the same time I finished my Transtar 2 build. This one was quite a challenge but It's done and looks great. 3d printed rims, custom decals, styrene mudflaps and fender wells, and scratchbuilt exhaust system.
  4. I'm super happy to say this one is finally done! Built it for a buddy out in California, and I think I nailed it perfectly. The mod list is as follows: 3d printed rear trailer hitch, 1/2 fenders, rims, and hydraulic tank. Italeri rear frame cut off, air ride suspension, cummins engine swap bumper, and exhaust tip. All chrome repainted with revell chrom spray. All decals custom made. Plus some other little odds and ends. I'm real pleased with it, enjoy!
  5. A true work of art on a very challenging kit. Blown away at the detail and paint work! Right up my alley?
  6. Thank you! I wish I was half as good as you and your assembly/painting skills. You do amazing work! Here's the final update on this build, the next post I'll do on it will be in under glass!
  7. Thanks buddy! A friend of mine did those for me, knocked it out of the park for this project! Here's another quick update. Parts done with paint and drying.
  8. The final pieces finally arrived! Hydraulic tank brackets installed, rear hitch on, and fenders mocked up and in paint. Wverything is currently drying. Another update to come in a day or 2....
  9. Shoot me a message if you need the intake/exhaust assembly. I may have one spare somewhere around here
  10. There will be many updates this coming week! The last pieces to this build are showing up Monday or Tuesday! The radio antenna was an after thought. I saw it on his truck and decided I should add it for extra realism lol It's a very nice build, same with the 4070A. They practically fall together and the detail is really incredible!
  11. This is a pretty big project for me to take on. I started doing commission builds/replicas as a side gig for a while. This one is for a good buddy of mine and his business out in California. I'm honored he wanted me to do this for him. Started put with an original 70's release Ertl kit, hacked off the rear frame section and swapped it out for an italeri air ride set up. Shortened the fuel tanks, moved the air cleaner and battery boxes back slightly, Italeri Cummins NTC350 swap, and custom made decals. I am still waiting for the new rims, hydraulic tank, and rear 1/2 fenders to arrive next week. After that, I'll be moving right along on this project! Here's what I've got so far, long ways to go yet. Snapchat-1286731120.mp4
  12. Yes it sure can be built as a daycab. There are resin daycab panels out there, and you can always modify the kit sleeper panel to work
  13. Scored these 2 not too long ago for customer builds. Both are, or were, factory sealed!
  14. No that's not a typo! This is my rendition of a what if. "What if Peterbilt made an aerodyne style sleeper?" I love how it turned out! It's not my best build, but I do really love how it looks, how unique it is, and how it sits. Definitely turned out better than expected. Here's the mod list in no particular order: Peterbilt sleeper passenger/driver side panels, superliner front/rear panels, and roof. All heavily modified to fit together properly. Swapped a Cummins from the Freightliner FLC kit. 3d printed exhaust stacks, whale tail, mudflap hangers, hood ornament, turn signals, cab/sleeper light panels, rear 1/4 fenders, hub odometer, and the Peterbilt oval rims. Moebius tires. Amt 5th wheel assembly. Rubber mudflaps. Custom made decals. Enjoy!
  15. How am I building them so fast? Once I get in the groove, I can build for hours on end lol plus I guess it's just experience building these kits from memory over time! I appreciate the kind words too. These rigs aren't as good quality as yours, but I'd say they're pretty close? Haha barely any space left where I am, I'll be getting more soon though thankfully!
  16. Finished up today! This one was quite a challenge. Had to repaint the bumper 4 times, trim/shave the cab mounts many times to fit properly, and a whole lot of other little problems. But it's all done now and it looks better than I expected! Here's the mod list per usual in no particular order= fully plumbed chassis, scratchbuilt air dryer assembly and fuel filter lines. 3d printed: exhaust stacks, 2 hole rear rims, lollipop lights, sleeper lights, bumper, and hood ornament. Modified Italeri Peterbilt steer rims, rubber mudflaps, and custom made decals. Enjoy!
  17. I do that on all my w925 builds! The tanks being offset is something I don't like. So I make sure they're even on both sides. Just a little pet peeve of mine lol This is my first time ever weathering! Ever single other build I have ever done is shiny. So this was definitely a learning experience for me!
  18. Also finished this one up the same day I finished my Alaskan Hauler project. It's 99.95% done since I'm still waiting for one small part to arrive, but it's good enough to post now! This one is a commission build for an old coworker of mine. So sadly, I won't be keeping it. But, mod list as follows: 3d printed daycab panel, exhaust stacks, rear fenders, and front bumper. Lowered a few mm's, scratchbuilt deckplate and shifter.
  19. Another one all wrapped up! Totally out of my comfort zone with this as it's the first time I've ever fully weathered up a rig, and it doesn't have any shiny pieces on it either! It's box stock for the most part except for mudflaps, exhaust tip, and antennas. Enjoy!
  20. Thank you guys!! Much much appreciated! It sure seems like it lol I have some freetime now so I'm finally getting caught up on builds!
  21. Thank you everyone, can't say it enough!!
  22. Finished this one up the same day I finished my Superliner project. This hardly ever happens when I finish 2 builds in 1 day, super cool when it works out like that! Anyways, build list as follows: stretched frame about 1 3/4", fully scratchbuilt body/tool boxes/latches. AMT Mack DM800 rear rims, Italeri Peterbilt 378 mudflap hangers, rear fenders, and exhaust tips. And a mix of other scratch built pieces/3d printed pieces. Enjoy!
  23. Wrapped up this beauty today. It came out absolutely perfect! Some flaws, but I won't mention them lol. As always, comments welcome, here's the mod list in no order: Testors pure gold frame, krylon black and metallic clear coat body. Swapped a 12.7 60 series Detroit in it. AMT Mack DM800 front axle and rear working suspension. Fully functioning u joints, and fully plumbed frame and engine air lines and electrical lines. Peterbilt oval rims with hub odometer, and scratchbuilt auto air inflation system. 3d printed front and rear hubs. Amt mercury sleeper and 5th wheel assembly. AMT Mack badges, and AITM pewter metal hood ornament. Plus a whole lot of other goodies. The list goes on and on. Enjoy!
  24. Thanks guys! The lift axle is a modified amt peterbilt steer axle, springs are modified from an unknown trailer kit in my parts bin!
